Brentwood Inn & Suites — Hotel in Hobbs

My husband and I rented a room on our vacation as its very close to the Casino. Checked in on Thursday afternoon and checked out Friday morning. The walls are so thin I could hear one patron clearing his throat and on the other side the other person talking on his phone. When we arrived home to Texas it was 10 pm so we did not unpack. In the morning upon unpacking I discovered I forgot some clothes in a drawer I called office the gentleman said call back in 20 minutes I did..he said call back in 30 minutes I did.. he said I'll call you back 3 and a half hours later no phone call when we called the lady said we don't have anything plz call in the morning. We called this morning Sunday, she said they just started cleaning the rooms if we find it we will call you. I guess our room hasn't been cleaned since Friday or the hotel and Housekeeping staff are not honest people in Which case I recommend no one stay there staff may walk off with your stuff. Policy in hotels is they return found items to front office if not claimed in 1 month it's yours. I worked in motels , hotels for many years.. and to top it off the coffee pot did not work and the fridge was not cooling properly. UPDATE: AUGUST 2018 I NEVER got that phone call back. I never recovered my clothes. most of it was new with tags as I had just bought it for our vaction. So just know staff is not trust...

Absolutely terrible!! They have 5 different Wi-Fi connections and none of them work and when you call down to ask the desk clerk she says “I don’t know what to tell you….” Half the appliances in the room didn’t work. The refrigerator smelled like rotten fish BAD, and the AC didn’t work properly. Halfway through my stay I found out that the lock on my room door didn’t work. I asked if they had another room they could switch me too, they were full. Then I asked if they could refund the day and was told they couldn’t because the room was already used. The manager suggested that every time I leave the room to pack up all my valuables and take them down stairs to leave with the desk clerk who just looked so trust worthy. After about an hour of trying to convince the manager that the door look was neither my fault nor my problem he finally credited me...

Currently stayed at this location in Hobbs, New Mexico was there attending a family funeral. The room smelled musty not at all what I expected the hand rail in the shower was not stable it was loose and falling out of the wall. I recently had a ankle fracture luckily I didn't depend on this rail for support or else it would have been another accident waiting to happen. Upon check out I let front desk know of my concerns they did not seem to care for the safety of their guest.
