Park View Inn & Suites, Hoisington KS — Hotel in Hoisington

In town for funeral & booked 5 nights. Worst part of stay: after 3 nights, to lobby for breakfast & for early checkout. No one there. Tried every phone # online & at property. No answer, or rang in lobby. Called Choice Hotels customer service; they couldn’t reach any managers or do early checkout. Asked police to confirm no medical emergency, then had to go out to breakfast. Afterward, found out someone just didn’t show — and hotel has no back up plan. Fill-in person (at desk in a Nirvana T-shirt!) ignored me when phone rang (they don’t even have a hold button). Had to wait 2 days to get back charge for 2 nights’ early checkout (asked at check-in & was told it wouldn’t be charged in advance). As a result of their ineptitude, our entire exit day schedule of travel & meetings was messed up. Had to spend next 10 days looking for the breakfast reimbursement on charge card. Think again if you want to stay here. Not worth it.||||Details of stay: trash overflowing in lobby. Breakfast had reheated hot items, no fruit; no coffee 1 day & no hot water for tea next day. Housekeeping left priced item in room once yet didn’t finish room prep. One of our keys quit working on day 2. Guest washing machine broken. Said we’d get quietest room but it was on...

Overall great experience on Valentine's Day... especially for the price. I rented one of the rooms with a whirlpool, and it was very clean, and the tub was in great shape. The room had a spacious decent-sized bathroom, tv/cable, microwave, and small refrigerator, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

I didn't spend any time in the lounge, but it did look fairly nice. There were a few people coming in and out of there that weren't staying at the hotel, and there were some pretty loud drunk people down the hall off and on from about 11:00 p.m. - 3:15 a.m.

Overall, really good experience and would definitely think about paying for a room there again. For people coming from out of town, free Hoisington pool passes are given out for having a key, and the Hoisington rec center will give a free pass for those who don't want to...

Stayed there for a night and the room was clean. Loved the way it smelt. Went to the bar and got amazing service from the bar lady, She was amazing, the only thing was is that the front desk ladies were not as friendly as i thought they would be, Not even a are you enjoying your stay here or anything. The one that checked us in was not very friendly nor did she want to really talk to us and then while i was passing through the lobby an over sized employee was sitting behind the desk in short shorts, and I am going to assume it was her husband laying on the couch in the lobby because they talked back and forth to each other... Definitely will never stay here again. They need to hire new people up front...
