Hey divers! I discovered three cons at this pool. Like many pools, Hoisinton does not allow backward flips, back dives or gainers. Nor does Great Bend and Hays. They keep their board at the tightest setting. That’s a bit too tight for those under 180 lbs. Another con is that the west side of the pool is about 6 - 8 feet from the diving board. That’s a little too close for comfort. Other than that, it’s a terrific pool. They let adults swim during breaks (10 minutes twice / hour). However, Lyons Municipal Pool does allow backflips and gainers. Plus, their board is a lot more bouncy....
Read moreThe pool is a great place to go to have fun and cool off during the summer. It's nice after the first week of being opened, that first week is usually really cold water. But once the water warms up its the best place to be. There is 2 diving boards in the main pool and a separate shallow pool with a giant mushroom water fall for the smaller children and babies to enjoy. It normally does not have too many people so there's plenty of room to enjoy swimming. I would definitely recommend this pool for everyone of all...
