Weldon Coffee — Restaurant in Homestead Township

First time visitor! Great place to stop for a morning coffee. You can tell how personal this place is. Supporting different local businesses within the shop: local honey (which is used in one of their coffee orders - Sleeping Bear 10/10 loved that drink), chapsticks, salt containers, etc. Plus the shop has their own items that they sell. Lots of great coffees to try for everyone! The customer service was also really great as well. We had a fantastic experience at Weldon Coffee in Honor, Michigan. I tried the iced local maple latte, it was smooth, flavorful, and perfectly sweetened. My wife had the Sleeping Bear Farms honey latte, which was equally delicious and well-balanced. What really set the visit apart was the owner, who was incredibly personable and took the time to explain the drink process to our 8-year-old, making her feel welcome and included. Weldon supplies the free coffee at Honor Farmers Market on Tuesdays where I vend. It worked. Had to stop in and pick up a bag to take home. And the kindest, most personable people were working. Just the right amount of gentle cheer, as I hadn't had any coffee in my cup, yet. Such a pretty, clean little spot to sit and sip. Baked goods looked absolutely delicious.
