Studio 6 Huntsville, TX — Hotel in Huntsville

This was by far one of the worst experiences I've ever had. The place was going through a " "renovation" I get how hard things can be because right now my job is doing a remodel. Thats no excuse for the things we found in our room. Well for starters they were several younger men standing around outside walking around like they were waiting to serve someone. There was a family upstairs that had clothes all on the rails and junk all outside the rooms. We overlooked those things. We get inside and the floors were nice and so was the kitchen area it had a full size black fridge, also inside that fridge was a little tiny guest (roach) he had also brought along some friends. We continued to overlook it. Proceeded to the bathroom and this is what made us leave. There was 2 big black spiders in the tub keep in mind I have my 3 yr old daughter with me and my older sister who are Both terrified of spiders we immediately start gathering our things to leave and 2 more spiders are crawling up the wall Above the beds beside the night stand was also several dead beetles. for almost 70 a night this room was filled with living insects and the parking lot was full of hustlers. I don't recommend this place to any family. if you are a young person that doenst mind the bugs this place is perfect for you. The front desk clerk was a nice young man but offering me a different room isn't gonna change the fact that your establishment was a filthy clustard f* We are from a small town north of Huntsville called Corsicana. we were in town for my cousins wedding we had planned on staying in Huntsville to go to the beach the next morning but instead we had to experience that nasty place and drive all the way home. I now know in future before I even pay for a room I'm checking the room and the parking lot first hand. good luck to that place on renovations and keeping...

I was hit by Hurricane Harvey and was approved for FEMA to stay in a hotel of any choice as long as they except FEMA I called everywhere in my area and everywhere was book except red roof inn so I went there and it was a nice room and everything but the staff don't like to tell the truth they want u to go out to eat every day and I'm sorry like a lot of folks in there I'm on a fix income so I can't afford to go out to eat every day so I was told I could bring my hot plate so I did and two days later I was told by the front desk that I either had to get rid of the hot plate or find another hotel so I called America's Best value I mean studio 6 and they had an opening but I would have to pay 10 for my dog which is cheaper then before and when I got to the hotel office i was greeted by the friendly face of the manager who remember be and my husband from a few years ago when we use to stay for a week or two and to be honest I like it better now then before yes it may be under Construction but it's a small price you'll have to pay and the one reason why I give this place a 4 instead of a 5 is because they got their microwaves and one of the plugs where I can't reach that and the price is too high now if I can get a discount or another free stay I'll definitely will...

I thought it was pretty bad. I booked online and when I arrived and checked in the lady told me i had a 2 bed smoking room. I told her non smoking. She said when i booked it online it automatically gave me smoking. I asked for a non smoking. Not in a kind voice she said no, i dont have one. I had my 2 grandsons with me. When she checked me in she told me room 223. It was dark and i didn't have my glasses on. My grandsons and i grabbed our things went upstairs and room 223 door was cracked open. I barely pushed the door open and someone was staying there. I had my grandson look at the key cover and it said 227. When we walked in our room the smoke smell about knocked me out. I put my glasses on and the room key had been white out and 227 was written on it. She should have told me 227 when she corrected the room number. I told her i didn't have my glasses when she asked me to look at the sheet that everything was correct. I didn't even get a receipt.

The room wasn't cleaned very well. There was something on the floor that was sticky and something on the table. I had wipes that i cleaned the table and head board of the bed. The headboard looked like it had grease on it. The microwave looked as it was wiped off with a dirty...
