If I could give zero Stars I would I came at 4 in the morning after getting off work at 3 the woman was sleeping when she finally woke up she told me and the three other guests waiting for assistance that there were no rooms available so I took it upon myself to drive through and around to the other side noticing several rooms that had open curtains and we're obviously empty seems to me like she just didn't want to do her job and check in the for customers including myself waiting for a room after telling us there was no rooms available I came back around the other three guests were also standing there stunned that she went back around to the other side which was locks after hours sat down in her chair and went back to sleep knowing that there were four people waiting to be checked in so I knocked on the glass and shouted in that I observed at least four empty rooms and got out to look through the window of the rooms with the open curtains to find nobody's belongings and nobody occupying the rooms only for her to tell me that those rooms were reserved for tomorrow and she couldn't rent them out for tonight again seems she just didn't want to do her job and refused to tell me her name when I asked she wouldn't even come back to the window she stayed behind the desk in the main lobby which was locked after hours horrible customer service I couldn't imagine ever spending my money at this location knowing how rude lazy inconsiderate and downright ignorant the employee left alone after hours could possibly be I plan to take this complaint to the owner and do whatever I can do to make sure that this lady is not able to continue keeping her job disrespecting customers lying and simply being lazy too lazy to even do her job and check in the customers waiting saying that there were no available rooms I didn't even drive all the way to the opposite side I drove down to the end of the first area of rooms and just in that first area I saw four rooms with open curtains and no one inside downstairs. Doesn't include what was probably available upstairs in the back and on the opposite side I've lived in this area for five years and I'm waiting for my house to be ready to move in so is interested in pain a weekly rate for a couple weeks and never once have I ever known this hotel to be at full capacity nor is it now and probably will never be so for her to tell us there were no vacancies especially verifying it again after I came back to inquire about the four empty rooms I saw just in the first set of rooms I drove past again only downstairs I didn't even think to look up stairs to see if there were any rooms empty or with open curtains and again I didn't drive to the back or other side just on the first row there were four vacancies and four customers waiting for rooms if there are reservations for tomorrow check in would be at 10 or 11 the same time check out is so there's rooms could have been rented tonight and still been able to make reservations tomorrow morning but that was her excuse that those four rooms I mentioned we're already reserved for...

Read moreLet me begin with I NEVER feel compelled to write reviews. However, The experience I had at the WELCOME INN (formerly Motel 6) leads me to do so for the first time....EVER. We all know how it is when we stay at hotels not part of a national chain. The people at THE WELCOME INN has totally re-written the script. The room was modern and clean. There wasn't a single insect, bug, or pest. In fact there wasn't a single iota of evidence of any such problems or infestations ever existing. There was absolutely NO bug marks on the walls. NO feces from pest along the walls or base boards, no ceilings or walls marred by decay from water damage. I arrived just before New Year's Eve, and attempted to order dinner. I'm assuming the businesses in the surrounding area were a bit overwhelmed, but no one had a delivery driver available. I called the front desk to ask for suggestions. Upon learning I am a cancer patient, and needed to eat to take my medicine, the young gentleman at the front desk enlisted the help of a friend and actually went to get me something to eat. He even delivered the food to my room when his friend returned with the food. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE WELCOME INN. I stayed at the establishment when it was a Motel 6, and the level of customer service, cleanliness, and comfort now (at THE WELCOME INN) is infinitely better. The people at Motel 6 and other moderately price hotels would do well follow the example set by the staff and management at THE WELCOME INN. Oh....If you forget something like soap, antiperspirant, or batteries (in my case) don't worry. They got you covered without charging...
