Me and my husband stayed at this hotel for two weeks due to repairs been done on our home. First let me start off by saying they DO NOT honor the DoNotDisturb sign. They tried coming into our room 3 times, my husband came to the door than they said they had to change mattress, and said this is the only day they can change mattress, but changed mattress are second week to. I was working they came in the room like 5 deep talking loud and everything not even respecting I was at work either. My husband even told them my wife working. Then the first week they clean our room they cleaned it with no problem, the housekeeper left the door open and did her job. Then the second week the management stop me while coming off the elevator and said are you in room 2** we have to clean your room but you will have to come in the lobby. I said excuse me I’m not coming to a lobby I have valuable stuff in my room and I’m not, she said our other guest do too. She basically said if we don’t then they will ask us to leave. So the housekeeper came into the room, started to clean the room then she called the phone basically telling us to leave room. My husband said I will wait in the hallway, mind you he got off of work at 7am and this was like 8:50 smh, my husband is sleep and I have to be at work at 11, in a quiet environment but as we waited in the hallway by the elevator we asked several guest were they asked to leave there room for cleaning. They said No, so my thing is why did my husband have to wake up to sit in a hallway at a room that we paid 824 for just six days to stay at. I already contact who I needed to contact because this is very unacceptable they have no Covid 19 protocols in place so why did we have to come wait in a lobby with other guest that were eating breakfast are doing whatever. I mean if they did have Covid-19 restriction why wasn’t other guest waiting outside there room for cleaning of there room. I mean that was very embarrassing like we were put out and couldn’t come in our room smh. My thing is we have a DoNotDisturb sign on the door and that was only day 4 so why was it a big issue to clean room. I personally asked a housekeeper for the door tag. I even checked the policy. I see nowhere where a guest is required to let a housekeeper in there room after day 4 nowhere. It actually states if you want a uninterrupted stay you can exchange towels and other things as well. When I have been a executive housekeeper in my lifetime and guest shouldn’t even be disturb until 11am and if they have DoNotDisturb why are y’all knocking on the door and entering a room, that doesn’t even need services really. I even got towels daily from housekeepers. So my thing is stay away from this hotel really, unless you want to be disturb in the...
Read moreWindows are screwed shut. Nobody is at the desk half the time. When someone is at the desk they are rude and condescending. Hallway smells like weed every night, probably because all the windows are screwed shut. Maids set thermostat at whatever they want and leave it while you aren’t there. Theres a threat they are going to charge you for missing items like towels but the number of towels they put in the room is never the same. The lower level hallway smells like raw sewage. The lobby chairs are put up on the tables for half the day multiple times a week denying guests use of the lobby. They arbitrarily reset the locks forcing you to go to the desk to get another key. When you get to the desk there is an excuse sign as to why nobody is there. Front desk tried to engage me in an argument over this review, I declined. These people have no business running a hotel. Registered agent for the LLC has a bogus address listed. Its another crack hotel in another town. Fire marshal and health department were very interested in the windows being screwed shut. Probably not a safe place for children or the elderly to stay. “Walking distance to many restaurants” ROTFL. Better get that in before dark and be well prepared to defend yourself. Watch the news while you eat breakfast and I bet you decide not to walk anywhere around here. Park your car in front of your room window and keep a constant eye on it. Make sure you lock it and don’t leave valuables visible. Read their responses to other poor reviews, absolutely mind blowing. They threaten people and tell them they cannot use the leisure amenities because their employer paid for the room for business. Disgusting! They call people liars. Pay with AMEX so you can chargeback the whole amount when they put bogus charges on your card. From reading reviews thats a common occurrence. If you need to chargeback a bogus fee direct the bank to the reviews. Bogus fees is a recurring theme. I didn’t see any bugs but now that I have read numerous reviews I should have looked for them. I wouldn’t stay here again if you paid me. Go on ahead and give me one of your passive aggressive responses, I dare you.
They called my employer to cry about this review in an attempt to get me in trouble. Didn’t work....
Read moreThe room itself was decent! I didn’t have any issues until the day of my check out! I was out running errands shortly after checking out and I received an voicemail that I left something behind! So, I called them back and spoke with a woman named Tina! She mentioned a blue dye that was on my bed and I told her I had noticed it myself, but I thought that maybe it was washed with something else after further inspecting it and smelling it! Also, the day beforehand room service came in to clean my room and they made my bed, but yet nothing of the supposed dye was mentioned! From there she asked me what color my hair was! I told her that it was black! She told me that it came from my hair! I told her that I did not recently dye my hair and if it was dye why was it on the sheets and not on my pillows? At this point she become argumentative after I tried explaining to her several times, that it did not come from me as I wear white when I go to bed when sleeping in hotels , making easier to identify any potential issues! She became enraged and called me “ignorant” and hung up the phone! So, I called back to speak to the manager and I was told she was the manager! From there I asked who was her boss as I am aware the manager answers to someone and from that point I was informed she is the owner! I will be filing a report with the bbb as my phone does record all phone calls and I have...
