The Airstream Factory Terraport is a convenient campground if you are having your Airstream serviced or visiting the factory. The terraport comprises of three circular camping sections each with eight full hook up back in sites. The area is directly behind the Airstream factory service center. You will have no issues if you check in on a weekday during office hours. If you do check in on a weekend or after hours, there is no one to assist you and the sites are first come first serve. Most of the Airstreams in the terraport are there for service and do not have to pay the fee of $20 a night. If you are there for service, be prepared on your date for service the team will be out at 7 AM with a forklift to bring your camper into the shop for review. Upon check in, you will be given a number to attach to your upper jack post so the service tech will know which unit is yours. You are given the option to camp while they’re working on your trailer, and they will bring it back to you at the end of the day so you can camp in it overnight. I don’t advise that, as it takes away critical time for your technician to work on your coach. Find a Airbnb or hotel. There is not much to do in Jackson Center. Nearby Wapakoneta, Ohio offers some nice restaurants and places to stay. Overall, it’s a convenient place to camp while your trailer is being serviced or you are visiting the Airstream headquarters. Be aware, there is zero security or cameras on the property. According to Airstream, they have never had an issue. Oh yes, if you are leaving it, do not put a hitch lock on your trailer. They cannot get it back to the service bays. You just gotta have faith. lol.
If you use the terraport in the cold winter months, you will experience ice and snow and treacherous travel. You will also notice that there are hundreds of Airstreams that have been dropped on the facility grounds for service throughout the colder months. You can generally get a service date in January February, but you are up against the weather and difficult travel. Frankly, I cannot imagine camping in Jackson Center for any other reason than service or a plant tour. As for the service center. The service is efficient, the work is done right and you get to meet your technician who works on your coach. You will pay some of the highest shop labor hours that you’ve ever experienced.

The service center has a small RV park for those who want to stay onsite during service.
The team at Airstream Service were awesome. Our service advisor was Josh Aldrich and our main technician was Sean. He had assistance from Derek.
Everyone was so helpful through the entire process. All our issues were addressed and we're now off to new adventures.
