First, here is my disclaimer I always include in my reviews. A) There is no such thing as a perfect RV Park/Resort/Campground, etc. You need to do your research and find the one that best meets your needs. So with that being said, here is my review. Getting registered was a little discombobulated. The owner told us a few days before that we had the pick of the lots. By the time we arrived the Camp Host told us they were all reserved. Fortunately, they found the perfect spot for us to stay in for the next 30 days. Two of the camp hosts were wonderful and friendly while the other 6 were more aloof. Yes, there are 8 camp hosts there because there is A LOT of work for them do so, such as cut grass for the campground and golf course; as well as, cleaning all the buildings, handling registrations, firewood, etc. The grounds were well manicured and they worked very hard. The main roads around the campground are dirt so it is dusty on a regular basis.||We were located in the lower half of the campground. There is no WIFI down there so you have to go up to the office area for WIFI. There are two washers and two driers for laundry. They charge $4 to do your laundry. The spot was a back in and long enough for our 43’ coach and truck to park. The spot was level with green grass. This spot is planned for a future seasonal spot. If you look at the map, eventually all the new spots 32-49 will be seasonal. Spots 1-22 are seasonal and occupied. The pull through sports 23-31 are for weekenders. My husband used the golf course often and really liked it. They have a daily golfing special for people at the campground. Make sure you find this info on the website as they do not advertise it in the office. There is a maze and mini golf set up as well. We didn’t used it but the mini golf looked well attended. They don’t really have a “mail” system set up so you have to go to the Post Office and set up your own PO Box, which is inconvenient. In fact, we had a problem getting some of our Amazon packages delivered. I did see a small playground for kids and there is an agreement with the American Inn Nextdoor so you can go and swim for a few hours in the pool with a small fee. I would say that this place is geared more for adults. $200 deposit for electricity is steep compared to all the other RV parks I have stayed in...
Read moreWe so enjoyed our stay at Wildwedge RV! We walked the trails daily with our dog, checked out the 9-hole golf course, and were impressed with all the things to do for families with kids of all ages, such as: table tennis, crochet, tether-ball, miniature golf, a cool wood maze, and a playground with sand toys. We hope to have our grandkids with next time we come through. It truly was a pleasure to travel with our RV and find an easy spot to pull into and have full hookups, and talk to Todd, too. The bathrooms were also very clean and the place was so peaceful & quiet! We wish you great success on the improvements, too.||God bless you and your business!||Cindy &...
Read moreWhen we start our Drive up to Wildwedge in the summer, our worldly concerns slip away with each mile we get closer to our seasonal campsite at "Todds Place" (the owner). Hazeltine quality par 3 golf course constantly maintained. 5 minutes from boat landing on Whitefish chain. Trails and wildlife surround and abound facility. Spotlessly cleaned bathrooms...
