We have been at different rv parks across the country and Westlake is of the best RV parks we have ever stayed at. We absolutely love it here. The park is beautiful and has plenty of parking and the speed limit is 5mph which really helps my anxiety when letting my kids play outside. There is always fresh popcorn in the club house and the views are awesome. We plan on staying here as long as we possibly can. We have everything we could possibly need here. The staff is fantastic and very welcoming. They really do go above and beyond to help with anything you need. At first I was worried because some of the negative reviews made it seem like the managers/owners were rude, irrational and way too strict. I was worried because the only other park in this area doesn’t allow ANY kids. This park only allows up to 2 kids per family which I thought was strange but obviously they must have this policy for a good reason. After being here for 3 weeks I’m convinced that the negative reviews are from people who feel that the rules shouldn’t apply to them. Moving here was the best decision for my family and we are happy to call it home.

Where do I even start? Too much has happened to even type it all out. The main gist of our whole experience... DO NOT GO TO WESTLAKE. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this park. The manager, Mark is an unbelievably unkind person. He lies, has zero tact and is incredibly malicious. There is an abuse of policy that allows the manager to pick and choose who HE wants in the park. When an unkind person is given this power, it will be abused without remorse and in turn hurt families and friends. I worry for our friends who are still there because the management is lacking leadership. Some people achieve success by caring for and influencing a large group of friends, others will use institutional power to harm others as they hold all the power. Unfortunately an otherwise beautiful park is marred by the presence of a small-minded individual as it's manager. I hope that corporate will investigate what is going on in this park and make necessary management changes, for the sake of the park and all of our friends that remain there.

Me and my husband stayed here from November 2024 to May 2025. We have two boys and our small dog. We felt welcomed from the start. School bus picks up the kids right out front. Our lot was nicely spaced with a little grass, the landscaping is kept up nicely as well. We always felt safe in the gates here, (but be cautious anywhere you go.) The pool and rec area is always clean and pop corn and coffee available. Sometimes we took showers in the bathrooms here and they feel great; always well maintained. The old management that left was very helpful and the new management is just as helpful too. In the office they are wonderful always making sure we get our packages and helpful with any concerns we had. The storage area is well secured and some one is always available in the office or on the phone. We are storing our RV here now until it’s sold and they have been so helpful with that too. A special big thanks to Eric and his crew at WestLake Rv Resort! You guys are awesome.

I’m beyond PO’d...there’s been a lot of stuff going on that I won’t go in detail about, but what just happened about 25 minutes ago, I’m not staying silent. So I’ve been up all night because I can’t sleep. I live in a park model BTW. I was in the kitchen doing some meal prepping and all of a sudden I hear a loud noise that sounded like a glass window break. My first thought was to grab my son’s baseball bat(don’t iwn a gun) then go check on him in the room. Then I call the after hours for Westlake RV resort because there’s managers that live onsite and we are told to call at anytime if they need to assist. They use to ride around in Their hold cart through the night checking on the park etcWell the lady who answers at after hours tells me to call the police they can’t do anything. I told her I planned to call the police but I’m a single mom of a 5 year old and that Mark could get here faster to make sure we are safe before police arrive. Mark the onsite manager has even stated to call the after hours at anytime if he is needed because that is what they are there for. The lady made it clear she would not call management and just call the police. I said well thanks and hopefully something bad doesn’t happen while we wait on police. So I don’t call the police and instead I grab both baseball bats and walk outside and walk around the RV park model to check all windows and make sure I don’t see anyone. This just topped off everything else that’s been going on. I pay way too much money to have to security, trim the trees in the back and more. Here we are 40 minutes later and still no onsite manager to check if my son and I are okay. Thank God I didn’t see any windows broken or any suspicious person. No I didn’t call the police since I took care of it myself. I have been awake all night and now I for sure won’t be going to sleep. My poor baby can’t fall back asleep because he’s scared.UPDATEMY 5 YEAR OLD AND I HAVE BEEN KICKED OUT DUE TO ME CALLING AFTER HOURS. DISTRICT MANAGER THREATENED TO TURN OFF ELECTRICITY AS A FORCEFUL SCARE TACTIC TELLING ME HE DID NOT CARE I HAVE A YOUNG CHILD. STEVEN IS HIS NAME STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I WILL BE FOLLOWING THROUGH WITH THE BBB, SUIT AND MORE. YOUR KIDS ARE NOT SAFE HERE AND THIS MAN STEVEN IS EVIL AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I HAVE HIM AND HIS WIFE ON VIDEO MAKING THREATS TO MY 5 YEAR...

Last November 10 my husband & I moved into Westlake RV Resort after selling our home and wanting to be able to travel more often. What an amazing experience. First the part is beautiful, all the amenities are outstanding. The pool is heated to 87 degrees during the winter and both the hot tube and pool are kept immaculate. The computer room has everyone you need, from printers, monitors, fax machine to using your own lap top if needed. Popcorn is provided every day free, be careful you can gain weight lol. Recreation room is very nice and includes free weights, treadmill, plus much more for the individual who wants to stay in shape. Coffee and a newspaper is there for daily enjoyment which just so happens to ensure I sit down and watch some local news each morning. Second the restrooms are fantastic while very immaculate with showers that will hold a whole family, lol no seriously that are huge. The lake is wonderful for fishing although I do not have enough patience according to my husband to the the line in long enough for a fish to grab the hook. I love to cast :) Next the resort is very pet friendly and Rachel & Mark the property managers really do try and ensure each guest picks up after their pet. Which I feel is acceptation considering some individuals are extremely rude by not picking up after their pet. Lastly and most importantly to husband and myself, since we arrived to check out he property the managers were very helpful and nice. This is saying a lot considering I am covered in tattoos and that isn't always the case. It's been four months since we moved to the resort and I can honestly say not one staff person has looked at me funny and each has always been very nice and helpful. Lastly if you are looking for a place to visit while stopping through Houston or a place to call home check out all the resorts owned by Quality RV! I have been to many now and all of them are wonderful and most are set up the same with just small variances. My opinion is there is always something someone can point out negative about any place he or she visits but how many can point out all the items I shared and say all of them are...

This place is absolutely not a “resort”.

There are tons of run down trailers that probably haven’t moved in years. They should really be enforcing some type of standards if they want to call themselves a “resort”. You should see some of these sites, it looks like people are hosting a garage sale every day. Stuff EVERYWHERE. Broken down cars, cars with flat tires etc…

I also love how the management gives you a rules list when you check in and then you’ll immediately see a dozen trailers violating those rules and nothing has been done. One example is the permanent structures people are building (stairs). Management is super insistent you can’t do that, but you’ll see it everywhere lol. Another one of those is the quiet hours rules, it was completely ignored and we were woken up multiple times in our stay.

It is also in a questionable part of town that is extremely busy and really loud. Youll hear people street racing at all hours of the day. I realize management has zero control over this, but I think it’s important to consider before you stay here.

This should be about a $35/night trailer park and not a $67/night “resort”.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention the off leash dogs. They are everywhere! We couldn’t even go for a walk around the park without seeing one. One even ran up to our site while we were setting up and scared the heck out of my wife. Luckily, it was one of the smaller ones but we saw several larger (50+ lb) dogs running around off leash.

Another thing is people ride their 4 wheelers on the walking path literally just a few feet from quite a few of the rv spots all of the time so you’ll hear them buzzing by loudly and extremely fast. Be safe walking there, I would not...
