My stay here both times were terrible. I came back the 2nd time because management asked me to give them a 2nd chance to make things right. My 1st stay I had to switch room twice because the first one had bugs, 2nd room smelled liked smoke. And for some odd reason the attendant was saying the rooms were being marked clean in the system but were in fact dirty. The 2nd time which was March 2024 After hours of driving, I tried to stay here yet again hoping things would be better and the Attendant Kim was so rude and being very discriminatory towards me while I was checking in, literally stopping and walking away several times while I was speaking inexcusable, then she purposely put me in the oldest, dirtiest room that probably needs the most work done to it in the hotel. On top of the pool and jacuzzi always out of order and the firepit shutting down at 9pm on Saturday night. I will never and I mean NEVER stay at any other Courtyard again no matter which state it is especially your employees treating their guests the way that lady Krystal or Kim (can’t remember her name) treated me. I’ve been a Bon Voy member for over 18 years and I’ll tell you, that was the most horrific evening in my life! DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL

Daamnnn this place is nice! Not what I was expecting out of Jonesboro! (Granted, I've never been to Jonesboro until now.) Impressed with the folks at the front desk and how friendly and easy going they are, how nice the rooms are (and they're kept cold in the summer! - unlike some other places, who turn the AC to a warm temp to where I'm still sweating lol), and their fitness center is larger than I expected and has a lot of neat stuff I was also not expecting (battle ropes, trx straps).

I stayed for 10 days on a work trip and had a mostly great experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable with reliable wifi and a good workspace. Staff were friendly and efficient. I enjoyed the Bistro for breakfast and liked the 24 hour fitness center. The location is convenient for business or leisure. One thing I would recommend is to check their AC units they are outdated and really loud, which made sleeping sometimes difficult during my stay.

Husband, pregnant wife, and toddler booked room directly on courtyard by Marriott site. After having to change rooms immediately upon checkout due to filthy room with beer/alcohol bottles left everywhere, second room had trash on floor.. When being woken up by banging on the door the next morning- in regards to “fire alarm issue” from supposedly 12 hours prior (previous night)-staff threatened to force entry into room after being asked to let us get dressed. After visiting front desk in regards to said “fire alarm issue” was denied speaking to “manager” and told there was no further issue.. only to have police show up to room 10 minutes later. After inviting officer in and discussing reason for visit he had little knowledge as to why police were called by management.. and confirmed there was no misconduct. Originally booked 2 nights, but decided best to check out after incident. Upon checking out asked for manager’s explanation of above events and was greeted by extremely an unprofessional “manager” that claimed we would be not be getting deposit back due to “smell of pot” in room. When that accusation was denied police were called back out hotel and “maintenance & food and beverage” employees that claimed they smelled such made threats and accusations. Police ended up responding and assisting with room inspection and it was resulted that no such smell or reason to believe unauthorized behavior was performed and I was insured I would receive whole deposit refunded. Upon leaving hotel, total charges for 2 night stay (one of which should be refunded due to early checkout) was increased by $50 and additional charge of an unexplained $35+ charge is pending card. Will follow up on how charges are handled… but for the price of this hotel and the expected reputation of Marriott, we were extremely let down and disappointed. Will not be booking any related hotel in the future and do not recommend. The whole situation was degrading and could have easily been avoided or handled differently at best. Tread lightly and don’t have too high of...

We stayed here for two days, and the first two front desk women we interacted with were wonderful—kind, respectful, and understanding of our neurodivergent children. They were compassionate about the fact that our home was damaged in a hurricane and that we were simply looking for a brief reprieve.

Unfortunately, our final experience was the exact opposite. When I went down to get a luggage cart, I didn’t put shoes on my two-year-old because of his neurodivergence. It hadn’t been an issue the entire stay. This time, the woman at the desk immediately and aggressively told me he could not be there without shoes. I calmly tried to explain, but she doubled down in an unkind, escalating tone. I complied, immediately went upstairs, got shoes, and came back.

When I returned, I politely mentioned that her approach had felt unnecessarily harsh. That offended her, and she began fussing at me. I asked her to stop and told her that I had already complied, but she continued to escalate. She then told me I didn’t have the right to explain how I felt, and if I didn’t stay quiet, she would kick us out.

Within seconds—despite the fact that I had not raised my voice or been threatening in any way—she called the police and had corporate trespass my family. I was not arrested because there was no cause, but the experience was shocking, humiliating, and disturbing.

I want to be clear: this is not a family-friendly hotel. The woman at the front desk (late 40s, short curly black hair, heavy makeup, thin build) treated us with hostility and disrespect during a time when we were already under immense stress. For a hotel employee in a calm, air-conditioned space to harass a small family who had already complied with her request was unacceptable.

We will never...
