It’s in a small town a little removed from I5, but not too far from Springfield and Eugene. I stayed for a day as a CDL driver. I needed to be off the clock for 8 hours and rest. Showed up at 8:30AM, took a nap in a comfortable bed, and watched some TV. Walked two blocks to get some lunch, and took a bath. I love the old fashioned decorations and I like that the room had hardwood floors. Just a personal preference. Very clean.

Good location right on Main street, Hwy 99. Large room with hard beds. Not many pillows. Very friendly staff. Great smiles. They cleaned our room! It has been a long time since we stayed in a place that cleaned our room every day. Loved our stay

The lobby and halls of this motel are really, really stuffy and warm, I’m not sure what they’re thinking, it would be a simple thing to put a couple strategically placed fans, the rooms are the same, the first thing you look for is the air to get it on and running quick. I stayed for two nights during the week, there were no other cars in the parking lot and the guy gives me an upstairs room - there is not an elevator, I had luggage, I’m a female, and I had my dog to handle as well, it was hard getting it all up the stairs to the second floor, plus I mentioned how stuffy and warm it is in there. What his reasoning was for giving me an upstairs room is beyond me and no offers to help either. You have to hold the handle down on the toilet for waaaaaay too long to get it to flush and even then you’re not too confident it’s going to. The bathroom is REALLY little and cramped. It’s a married couple that lives there at the motel and runs it. The wife seems to do the day shift and the husband the night. I arrived there later evening so the husband checked me in. He told me the price for a single queen room would be $109/night plus $15/night for my dog which a quick add in my head told me a total of $248, plus I knew there would be tax…but not that much! My bill ended up totaling $270+! I asked him when I first checked in if there was a discount for a week stay, he just looked at me frowning and shook his head no like I had asked him something stupid, then a few minutes later he told me he would give me a discount of $99/night, I said for five nights? And he said no, I’d have to stay 7 nights to get the discount...$700 for a weeks stay in that place?? I passed…maybe Las Vegas but not the Guesthouse Inn in...

I will say the room was clean. But I expect a clean room when at a hotel!||||We made the reservation online directly with this hotel. In other words, we did not use a third-party service such as Priceline, Expedia, Trip Advisor, etc. I figured that if I made the reservation directly that my special requests would be given the proper attention. I was incorrect.||||We made the reservation more than 30 days ahead of our arrival. Given the location, this would mean that there were few (if any) prior reservations on the books. We stated we would probably be arriving after 5pm (Friday evening) for one night.||||Our special request was to have a room on the ground floor.||||When we arrived, the room assigned to us was on the second floor. Upon inspection it was quite apparent that someone had been smoking tobacco in the room. This is supposedly a non-smoking hotel. I went to the first floor and requested a different room. I was told that the room given to us was the only room available.||||We left for a prior engagement. Upon returning around 10pm, when going to sleep we found the refrigerator to be extraordinarily noisy loud (high pitch uninterrupted humming noise). I solved this by unplugging the refrigerator.||||Will we stay...

We weren’t expecting much. I’m only giving 2 stars because the hotel did let us change rooms the second night.||||First, the hotel lobby and hallways have an overwhelming smell of cooking. We were given room 110 and it was tolerable but we would have asked to move if they weren’t already full.||||The bathroom door doesn’t shut/lock. There’s water damage on the bathroom floor. And the tub has been broken around the drain for so long that there are holes, cracks and rust (see pic). It looks like they tried to fix it once. ||||When I risked showering in the morning I did my best to stay away from the drain but there are no anti-slip pieces left on the tub or no mat to put down. All I could think of was that I was risking a trip to the hospital. We couldn’t bathe our toddler. ||||We were moved upstairs and, despite the rock hard beds and stained linens, it was a better experience. I’m just surprised they would have rented that room out at all, much less...
