I worked here for 9 months and was constantly harassed by the bathroom janitor. Even while selling my rv she took photos of me secretively. She even went looking for my new home we purchased. I over worked myself and never made a paycheck not once. A full time job for $900 a month with 5 children and my wife in my home. I donated plasma all summer and worked in that heat just to keep my finances in order. I had to keep working just to keep my lot or else I was on the kick out list. I watched them kick my elderly neighbors out today when I drove by. And the referred to them as not elderly at all lunch meeting saying 80 wasn’t elderly. That place looked like a manicured golf course and I gave it my all for my children’s sake. I’m owed at least the respect of privacy since the janitor is still chasing my whereabouts. Evil isn’t the word of her. So much to say how horribly my family was treated. I was told for the first 6 months my children couldn’t drive there bikes from our site cause of predators. I have no respect for a man that thinks someone’s worth is worth nothing just for him to squeeze a penny. Watched the owner pay people in front of me after I did all the work and was just directed. Literally stuck my hand down a sewage drain to jet it out when no one else would or could but he still insisted on paying the guy that came to tell the lay out of the piping system when he was refusing. That place is horrible now and ran by people they don’t even know. Management can never get anything right and charge you if your card is saved on file and complain about refunds. Smile in your face and talk about you around the park. Good Floridays. I was also called stupid by the owner and I didn’t know how to do anything when I handle all labor with minimal instructions. Every morning I was told to do what I do cause I knew what needed to be done. All those trees look horrible since I left and the grass is overwhelming. Only place to stay besides twin rivers but I would suggest some other city nearby. Ps the bathroom janitor lady is a riot and will curse at u for even walking in the bathroom. You guys should she the letter I got from the owner saying they were cutting back on work campers staring with me but the bathroom pa troll still...
Read moreHad reserved a space for the month of October, arriving there on the 3rd. The first thing we noticed was the Park bears no resemblance to the photos on the Website. It quickly became apparent that this is an old Mobile Home Park quickly converted to an RV Park. Many of the Rigs are full time residences with RVs in poor condition combined with the lack of landscaping makes this an unappealing environment. Even though it’s not the caliber of park we are used to we decided to stay because it’s close to the beach. Within hours of hooking up to the 50 amp electrical service the breaker started to trip triggering our generator to auto start. Told the manager Shawn that there was a problem, eventually he came and replaced a faulty breaker and said we would need to turn off AC units because his system could not supply the needed 50 amp service. We confirmed before we arrived that there was 50 amp service. We are currently in a park with 50 amp service with no issues running all AC units and more. We decided to leave on the 6th due to the fact we were on our generator half the time and was depleting our battery’s every time the breaker popped. Shawn mentioned charging us for his faulty breaker which was not our responsibility. At check out we agreed to to pay for the week, but told Shawn we didn’t owe him to repair his infrastructure. When we checked Credit Card Charges We saw he charged us for 5 days 192.50 plus $82.94. When we called he said the additional charge was for electricity but we were on generator most of the time, when we challenged him he said it was for two breakers and the electrician even though I personally watched him change the breaker, then he changed his story again. Apparently he charged us meter readings from Sept. 15. There is no way we used that amount Of electricity while using our generator. Other people warned us to photograph the meter before and after because he consistently uses this as a way to extract Attis all money...
Read moreUpdate 02/2022. Park is getting renovated to have double the number of sites. No off season storage. No rigs over 10 years old when renovations are completed. Still a great place, but we're not interested in buying a new rig just to visit as our rig is one of the last Diesel units that doesn't need DEF. Sad because we've been there since 2008 and love it. When it comes to comparisons- for example compared to the nearby Jonathan Dickinson State Park- this place has it beat hands down. Air conditioned new, modern and luxurious restrooms to start. Working modern laundry facilities with a change machine (no need to take a ten mile trip to try to source change- which JD does not offer). Plus, friendly staff and even closer to the beach than either JD campground. Also there is in park free WIFI as well- for about the same price. Yes, there is no pool. It is not a "resort", but the actual attraction is in fact the most pristine beaches about 1.5 miles away on Jupiter Island. Also, most sites are very large with concrete pads, good water from Martin County utilities too. If you are staying long term you must pay your own electric. If you want cable or phone, you must install it yourself. Comcast is available. ATT (last time I tried) no longer services the park (though I have had service from ATT in the past, they say the location no longer qualifies). Book early and in advance as the park is usually full during the season. Great summer spot if you want to enjoy the uncrowded beaches...
