Flathead Lake Lodge — Hotel in Kalispell

This was truly an amazing place that we all fell in love with!||From the moment we drove up the driveway to Flathead Lake Lodge it was breathtaking!||The staff when we checked in were so helpful.||They took us to our lodge room that took my breathe away....it was so clean and beautiful.||The lodge is right on Flathead Lake and a big pool right in front of the Lake where you can swim.||The Food was amazing for breakfast, lunch and dinner.||One morning we went by horseback up to the mountain where they cooked the best pancakes, eggs and bacon!! ||Dining at dinner is family style in the large dining area in the main lodge. We made so many friends while we were there it was amazing.||One of the nights there was a steak fry where they take everyone in to the mountains with 3 open top fire engines .....so much fun for the adults and the kids.||Live music and wine and Mr. Averill was there talking to everyone like family!||There is so much to do here from horseback riding, archery, laser tag, fishing, going to the Elk Preserve to see Elk, watersports, sailing and motorboat ride around the lake where you see so much wildlife and more, swimming in Lake or pool, rodeo, live music with dancing in the pasture and so much more......the biggest thing is deciding what you want to do that day, you will never be bored.||One night they had a bonfire for the adults with amazing fun music and one for the kids with s'mores.||Another night we all sat on the porch in front of the Lake and listened to live music (amazing).||I could go on and on about this lodge ......it was one of the best experiences I've had in my travels and I travel alot.||||To the Averill Family and their staff, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this trip one we will never forget and making our family feel at home on your ranch. This place is incredible. We had to wait two years on the waiting list to get in, but it was worth it. Complimentary laundry, complimentary alcoholic drinks, incredible location and view on Flathead Lake with canoes, paddle boards, sailboats, water skiing, hiking, biking (so many bikes to choose from) and a dude ranch. The only flaw is the event sign-up at 7:30AM on Monday. This is exactly like the Oklahoma Sooner land rush where settlers were told they could get free land on April 22, 1889, but sure enough much of the prime land was already occupied. Hence the name, Oklahoma Sooners. Similarly, we arrived at 7:30AM to sign up for much anticipated water skiing and other events. I really wanted to teach the kids to water ski this week. Unfortunately, all the slots were already taken. But Flathead Lake Lodge does such an incredible job with the consumer service, they made sure that our family was able to water ski several times during the week. Internet speed: 26 Mbps download, 10Mbps upload. The beds are incredibly comfortable. So many chairs facing the lake in the shade of a tree. Pure serenity. The customer service is amazing here. The founding family still works here and the CEO was cooking the steaks on the Steak Fry day. It is amazing how they have been able to get all their employees to buy in and care. I loved this place. Serenity on the lake + water ski + dude ranch + sailing + pool + incredible service makes this one of the best...

If there is indeed a place called "heaven on earth" this is the spot. The natural beauty and splendor of Montana (or anywhere) is personified here! A very special Garden of Eden if you will. Where the air is pristine with just a hint of the sweet smell of flowers that have just been touched with dew. I wear a fit bit and it measures my |stress levels". Normally they run about 5|1, but here they were at a constant and wonderful 30. From the moment you set foot onto this property you would think you are miles away from the rest of the hustle and bustle of the real world.|The accommodations were cozy and inviting, the food outstanding! Words do not and cannot express how incredible every person that calls Flathead lake lodge home were. Their kindness, easy smiles and endless help if needed were always present. |The activities were things we had never done and we relished all of it! Archery was brilliant as was our guide. We also availed ourselves of the Elk preserve which was breathtaking. To be so close to such magnificent and majestic creatures was spellbinding. Boat rides along the lake, or borrowing a mountain bike for the week, whatever your flight of fancy is, it is there!|We can not wait to return next year!|Thank you so much for the most amazing, peaceful and glorious 4 days!|Kip and...
