Such a nice motel to stay at!! The rooms are indeed "very clean" as advertised right outside! And you cannot beat the price. I needed 2 beds which actually was 2 rooms with a shared bathroom so it was perfect and all that for just $69!! Amazing! Spoke to Todd when I made my reservation & told him we would prob be there a bit late. He told me they'd prob be at the bar next door & said where he would put my key if it got to be after a certain time (like after 10 pm). We made it ahead of schedule & the office was closed but Barb was just right next door at the bar and saw me pull up so she came over to check me in before I even had a chance to walk over there to find her. The beds were comfy and we slept so well. Perfectly located close to I-90 but nice and quiet. I really can't say enough good about this motel!! Absolutely recommend to anyone looking to stay...
Read moreIf you're traveling along I-90 between Wall Drug and the Corn Palace looking for a comfy, safe place to sleep- check out Gerry's Motel. And here's a pro tip: skip hotels.com and call Todd directly for the best rate. This is a wonderful, no-frills motel that doesn't compromise on the essentials. It was exceptionally clean from top to bottom, including the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable – we snagged a room with two king-size beds, which my husband and I loved. And our two teenage daughters were absolutely thrilled to have a giant bed instead of sharing a fold-out couch for once! Plus, they had a Smart TV and Wi-Fi. And yes, the window AC was a little loud, but no louder than any other window AC, and it was icy cold. We will definitely stay here again when our travels bring us back...
Read moreSuper clean and conveniently located right off the freeway, this little motel made for a perfect stop. Check-in was quick and easy, the rates were affordable, and the bar just steps away was a huge bonus - I was able to enjoy a few drinks without having to worry about driving.
But what really made my stay special was the people. As a solo female traveler, I walked in and was immediately invited to sit with the owner, Barb, and her friend Mary. We spent two hours sharing stories and laughs- it was the kind of genuine, small-town connection that’s getting harder to find these days.
If you’re looking for a clean, budget-friendly place with real heart and community, stay here. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m...
