Target Hospitality Kermit South Lodge — Hotel in Kermit

I don’t know about all the bed bugs and that. I stayed for 50 days and never had an issue. The kitchen staff can be rude at times. And the food is either good or trash, no in between. They got a weird cleaning schedule too, I guess it’s based off your rotation. But I went like 12 days without seeing a clean room. At that point you just clean it yourself. The gym is ok. No one practices gym etiquette so you can go in there and there’s trash and weights all over the floor. I asked for a coat hook to put my sweater when I went and worked out, never saw one. Descent facility, sure beats Permian Lodging facilities anywhere (nightmare of a facility). The facilities in Odessa, Midland and yes even Pecos are by far more superior as far as comfort, customer friendly, amenities, cleanliness. It is difficult to leave our families and friends behind and a little bit of tlc can make our hitches away from them a bit more comforting. It would be a 4 star to me if front office personnel would be a bit friendlier and kitchen staff a bit more welcoming. Worst place to stay nice and bed bug issues, coustomer service is very poor and house keepers don’t speak a lick of English. Only good thing about this place is the free food. If you have issues expect not to be treated well or in a timely fashion took 10 days before they swept or emptied trash. Ended up buying my own cleaning supplies, blanket and pillow. Also there were several employees leaving with guests. Nicest place is the weight room. Small rooms small t.v and shared small bathroom with a random guest. They don’t put you with the same guys you work with.. definitely look elswhere...
