Location has COCKROACHES 🪳 (pictures) Checked in at the office and the girl at the counter seemed rather sketchy to us. She had a friend sitting on a barstool over off to the side, wearing jeans and a T-shirt with some kind of logo or writing on front, not sure that she even worked at the location, she never said a word, just sat there with a deadpan look on her face, maybe she was just hanging out?? Very strange. When we got to our room, the room door was open and the door latch swung outward to hold the door open. I returned to the office to inquire and was told it was fine that they were just in the room moving things around before I got there... no chairs to sit on at the table, so what's the point? No chairs in the room at all! Could only sit on the bed. In the bathroom there was a dead cockroach on the floor (picture) so this place has roaches not sure why no one else is mentioning it, and then we woke up to a roach running across the floor between the beds in the morning. The bathtub is a state of disrepair and was filthy (picture), in need of refinishing again, as the previous refinish paint is all flaking off, soap scum around the tub drain (picture) AND housekeeping didn't even clean very well as they left the previous guests half used shampoo bottle sitting on the top ledge of the shower (picture)and their bath towel on the back of the door (picture), so nasty! Around the toilet on the floor looked nasty like pee (picture), The refrigerator was dirty inside (picture), having food residue on the bottom and on the grates of the shelving. The inside of the microwave was dirty also (video), with food splatters inside from previous guests. Beds were comfortable, (which is the only reason my rating is even 2 stars) but beds only had a sheet and a thin coverlet the same weight as a sheet to cover up with and at this point we weren't even sure if the sheets were clean. There was a bag with blankets in the armoire to put on the beds yourself, which we did, but honestly it should've already been on the bed. Location has permanent residents residing here. And around 3-4am a couple, man and woman, were standing outside of our room loudly having a conversation, which woke us up. Location is right next to the highway, there's several fast food and restaurant options as well as gas stations and other hotels including the Hampton, which had I known before reserving this room, I would've stayed there instead. BREAKFAST: Breakfast consists of bagels and cream cheese, instant grits, instant oatmeal, cereal, bananas. They have a carafe of "hot" water for the grits and oatmeal that's not hot enough for anything, it was barely warm and the bowls are Styrofoam so you can't microwave the oatmeal or grits. Probably won't stay here again.

This two-star hotel did not disappoint at all. My non-smoking room was on the second floor. It was very clean and tidy with no unpleasant odors, there were plenty of towels. The only downside is that the shower is made for children or short people, you have to bend over to wash your hair. It's also a bit noisy from the traffic on the freeway. Anyway, as far as the hotel is concerned, everything is fine.

Room smelled “musty” and very outdated. There were chips on furniture, tile, etc. In fact, the bathroom was the worse with the tub either super stained or not cleaned because there was hair in the stopper still. It was close to $100 when I stayed, which for the price was not worth it.

Beautiful, clean rooms. Felt safe leaving my two moving trucks in the parking lot. Very convenient location being right off the highway. However, I took two stars off after the horribly unwelcoming greeting my mom and I received by the front desk clerk when we arrived. I called earlier in the day to let the front desk know that we would be arriving later in the night. They said that was fine. We tried to walk into the lobby around midnight, hands full of two (leashed) medium sized dogs (which they accommodate for, yay!), and multiple bags, but were stopped by a man inside who cracked the door open, said absolutely nothing, and just stared at us. Confused, I told him my name and that we had a room for the night. And this man said nothing! Just continued to stare with the door cracked open. So my mom asked, “do you not want the dogs to come in?” He replied, “not really,” and then begins to walk to the front desk letting the door just shut in front of us. Then he adds, “well, YOU can come in,” in the most annoyed tone I’ve ever heard from anyone in customer service. As if he was confused as to why we weren’t coming inside. No hello. No welcome. No smile. No “can I help you with your bags?” Just a snoody comment and the door shut in our face. I almost wanted to leave and stay at any of the other hotels next door because this encounter turned me off so much. This first impression entirely ruined my mood for the evening, as both my mother and I have never felt so unwelcome in a place we are supposed to be spending the night. Honestly, no wonder this man works the late night shifts. For a hotel employee, he is the most impersonal and impolite man I have ever encountered. If you come to stay here, and you want even the bare minimum of customer service, I would recommend checking in before the sun goes down. And hopefully before this man...

April 1, 2017* The owners of this Days Inn, Jim and Marsha, go above and beyond to provide customer service. THEY PROVED THIS YESTERDAY!!!! One of our guests dog, Atlas, manage to get out of their room after the owner had left for work. Atlas went missing for close to 20 hours including overnight. The owner was heartbroken when she returned from work at 9:00 pm to find her dog gone. So the search was on to help find Atlas. When Jim and Marsha was notified they immediately jumped on board for the search. They reviewed security tapes, even went out driving through Kuttawa to look for him. We instructed the owner to put some of Atlas's personal belongings out in front of her hotel door, in hopes he would pick back up his scent. Finally around about 3pm here comes Atlas searching for his mom. We were all touched to see the happy reunion. Although he had a broken leg, he was so happy to find "mom". Then the search was on to find a VET on a Saturday that could see Atlas. The entire staff was making phone calls , including Jim and Marsha, searching. Finally, one agreed to meet her at his office. Atlas will stay there until Monday and have his leg treated. **KUDOS TO EVERYONE HERE AT DAYS INN FOR THEIR HELP, ESPECIALLY JIM AND MARSHA, "THE OWNERS"

I just want to share that I work with the best team here at Days Inn. We all strive to make your stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. The Front Desk try diligently to make you feel welcomed right from the start, and our housekeeping team strive to keep your room fresh and clean. You Will Enjoy Your...
