We walked in at 8 AM. We waited 10 minutes to be seated and another 15 before our orders were taken, and by the time we finally got our food, we had been inside for well over an hour. And then the food. Oh boy the food. As previously mentioned, it took them 45 minutes to cook our orders. Waffle was good. Eggs were flavorless and sad. Bacon was plain nasty. Biscuit and gravy was salty but OK. The biscuit was microwave in front of me. Why did it take an HOUR to get it to me. Hashbrown was flavorless and sad. And the water. I could write an essay on that water. Like an in depth flavor profile. It tasted of aspergillium mold with a hint of toxic factory waste. It was disgusting. 3.5/10 do NOT recommend this establishment. The waitress and other employees were very nice. The food negates any amount of friendly workers. Don't go here
After reading all the other reviews, everyone that has written a 5 star review is over the age of 65. Seems the elderly love toxic factory food. I did not see a single review 5 stats from anyone younger...
Read moreThis was our first visit, but still by no means be our last! My family loves having breakfast for dinner at times, and the food really hit the spot! Let me break this down for you a bit...
Food: *omelet: Fluffy, not greasy, the filling was cooked (ham, cheese, peppers and onions), to me there is nothing worse than crunchy veggies in an omelet. These folks know how to cook at omelet. *hashbrowns: crispy, even cook, not greasy. Most places cannot do justice to scattered hashvrowns. They either burnt or pushing the boundaries of being cooked at all. These were as close to perfect as your going to get. *toast: the only thing I would change here is ordering it dry, that is just my preference.
Service: they were slammed, we were greated and seated and asked for a drink order in quick order. Our food came out pretty fast and was piping hot. The staff that we encountered were friendly, and made sure to ask how we liked everything. Also, huge points for this one; everyone handling...
Read moreWoohoo! A darn good diner for just about anyone with a Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner palette at just about anytime of the day. I have stopped there twice along my travels. The only sad situation is that they currently are not a 24-hour operation as most of my time is having to eat a meal after getting done working at the hospital performing repairs. I understand their situation. I just ask they keep it going.
To everyone else looking for that satisfying service with a good meal, you need to take the time for a pit stop.
Not going to lie about getting to them isn't the easiest when exiting off from the West bound interstate. I really hope those ramps start getting stop lights to help with traffic flow.
They are worth the small amount of time to sit, relax, eat, and have a cup of joe (or a beverage of...
