Where do I even start? If youāre looking for a Covid friendly hotel STAY AWAY!! According to Choice hotels Covid precautions on their website, this place fails horribly! No staff was seen to be wearing a mask, NONE! Not once did we see anybody sanitizing anything! Now onto the room itself. Please keep in mind our room slept 4 and we had 4 in our stay (2 adults/2 kids). |1. Had to ring multiple times for toilet paper and didnāt receive any until almost 2200! We checked in at 1500! Excuse: They āran out & having to go borrow some.ā|2. 3 full size towels, 2 hand towel and 2 washcloths. Forget about asking for more to bathe everyone theyāre āout.ā |3. The floors are STICKY! After a shower, walked around the room for about an hour barefoot and had to wash my feet off before going to bed because they were black & filthy & just felt gross!! |4. You get a pick of either Highway side with noise & a parking lot party all night OR a pool view with loud inappropriate rap music blaring with a max pool occupancy being ignored & pushed to the extreme!! Needless to say the swim we had planned with 2 small very excited-to-go-swimming kiddos had to be nixed due to none other than SAFETY! |5. For the kitchen thatās supposed to accommodate 4 came with: 1 full size plate, 1 small plate, 1 bowl, 1 full size glass, 2 small juice glasses, 2 coffee cups NO paper towels, NO dish soap for either the sink or dishwasher, NO ice trays & ice maker made NO ice. Keep in mind if you ask for any of these things to accommodate 4 youāll hear āweāre out.ā The burners and backsplash were down right disgustingly filthyš¤®|6. The sofa was a joke! You sit down & fall in! |7. You get a whopping 2 USB charging ports so bring your cube OR be prepared to charge your electronics only in the bedroom. |8. Cleaning is done by the lick & prayer method. Again, not COVID friendly!!!! ||Proās? The breakfast charge Sissy is a diamond star asset to this establishment! What a beautiful cheerful soul to be greeted by in the morningš She will make sure you have what you need to get up & running. Thatās it. No other Pro. ||For $200, my expectations were reasonably higher than the barely Motel 6 experience we had. Will not stay here again while visiting my husband when heās working in Dallas or recommend this as a quality, worth the $$$, place to enjoy...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJune 3, 2021 I booked a stay at this hotel and the quoted internet total was $95.54. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was told there is a $50 incidentals deposit required which is understandable, so I handed the desk clerk my debit card, which she ran through the hotels payment processor. Immediately a $50 charge was processed through my debit card company and I received the notification. But then about 30 seconds later, I received another notification that Mainstay had charged my card $145.54, which is $50.00 more than the quoted amount. So I inquired why the hotel charged this amount. The desk clerk seemed agitated and began to tell me that she had already gone over the $50 incidentals fee with me, but was surprised when I turned my phone around for her to see the notifications that proved she not only charged me the $50 incidentals charge separately but also included it in the total for the night's stay. There was a scene when the security guard said she did not do it and I would have to get with my card issuer for a refund. The scene escalated because I wanted to know why this security guard knew she didn't do it because he was watching her process my card. The very tactic identity thieves use to gain credit card info for later illegal activities. . After a minute or two of words being exchanged, I was ordered, with my fellow Lodgers, to leave the property, to which I refused without my money being refunded. So Lancaster PD was called and We left after promising not to return. Today is June 18th, 15 days have passed and I still have not received my money although the hotel says they cancelled the transactions. I did get the $50 charge back just minutes after driving off but the $145.54 is still in someone else's pocket. And I am starting with this review to warn people about the shady activities at this hotel by the desk clerk and her security guard accomplice, who have basically robbed me at gunpoint because as I was being ordered to leave the property, the security guard walked directly behind me at only a few steps from my heals despite the Covid19 pandemic and he kept his hand on a weapon holstered at his hip.. Now tomorrow I will call Choice Hotels who I am a platinum member with and see if they can do something about...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst things first, DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want your car broken into and the owners wonāt even let you know because they donāt know who the car belongs too because they donāt take down tag numbers when you check in. There is no security on the property which causes CARS to be BROKEN into or STOLEN 3 times out of the week and every weekend and the owners wonāt do anything about it because itās not their cars!! Literally the worst 2 months of life š¤¦š¾āāļø I do not know if the owners are not paying housekeepers or what but they have an issue with putting dirty bed sheets on the bed and NOT cleaning properly!!! I have been taking pictures my entire stay because I knew I was gone leave a review when I leave! When I first checked into my room, the microwave was dirty and someoneās hair was in the bathroom tub š¤¢. The hotel it self has only been open for 5 years and already needs repairs, the building is literally falling apart from inside to outside!! The hallway floors are just disgusting š„“ there is a roach infestation problem also. The washers are awful, they are always dirty in the inside and outside. There isnāt really nothing good to say about this hotel since it got bought out by the new owners ( Indians ). There is mold in the building which they have their maintenance man paint over which was the LAST straw for me to check out and will NEVER come back āš¾ the owners take no...
