This is long overdue. I stayed at Days Inn while passing thru Laramie Wyoming about a month and a half ago. I checked the reviews and I read a couple that weren't that great mixed in with mostly good reviews. I know reviews can make or break a business as I am a small business owner myself. One particular poor review seemed like it had been overly exaggerated, and I just had to see for myself. I arrived around 930 pm on the coldest night of the year (temps were well below 0 with wind chills around -20).I had no reservation, no problem. The lady at the front desk was very professional and friendly. I was traveling with my pitbull which was no problem, I paid a small pet fee and that was that. Front desk lady came around to pet my dog and we talked about the breed in general for a few minutes before heading to the room. The room was clean and quiet. A little upgrade to the TV channels wouldn't hurt but it wasn't a big deal. I did laundry and had to go to the front desk at 1am for change which I was given with a smile even at 1 am ! In the morning I met the couple that manages the place. The wife had set up the breakfast with so much care I could tell she was very passionate about the way they ran their hotel. Breakfast was hot and there were so many choices. Belgian waffles, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausauge, cold cereal, fresh fruit and fruit juices (3 different kinds) ice cold milk, fresh bakery and more. I didnt get any dirty looks or attitude when i went back for seconds, just a friendly smile. Same when i asked her if i could take a couple pieces of fruit with me to eat on the road as i still had over 1000 miles to drive before Id be home. It was bad ass !I lwas very impressed with the service at this establishment. Very friendly folks. I'd def stay there again for sure. This couple that manage this place do an excellent job and def earned every star in this review. NOTE; I stayed at a Days Inn the following night a few states east of Wyoming and it was so bad I demanded a refund and just slept a few hours in my truck before getting back on the road. So it's clear it's all about whose in charge because the folks in charge at Days Inn in Laramie have what it takes to make their...
Read moreI usually prefer to stay at a Hampton or Hilton because La Quinta and the like usually come up extremely short. This place is a diamond in the rough.
Beautiful views.❤️ Heat and AC work splendidly. At first there was an odd smell but just for a couple of seconds and probably because my face was right up in the vent trying to figure out the buttons hahah. perfect toilets for pooping! Xoxox nice and low.❤️ ample desk space area(s) one area is a massive counter that we used for a standing side by side work set-up … pure heaven!❤️ lovely pictures on the walls. extremely spacious. comfortable bed and the lots of pillows. I always bring my own but the extra cushion was much appreciated after a hectic winter drive.❤️ fridge was really clean, even the seal. -microwave looked like it had some tough times but still very clean. lots of tv channels, news, movies, I could change the brightness unlike with most hotels that lock up everything but the volume and channel buttons. plenty of plug-ins by the bed with USB ports!!! Ahhhhh ironing board (did not use) blow dryer (did not use) only possible negative was the wall behind the toilet looked a little rough. water pressure was pretty good in the shower and the toilet flushed well. -WiFi worked perfectly
-*❤️👅🤤💦😘👍 BREAKFAST WAS AMAZING. It’s not like anyone is making you omelettes or anything but oh my gosh…. Delicious. I don’t eat meat, but I do eat eggs and the eggs were better than most major hotels. I had waffles and the little girl next to us had freshly made pancakes and sausage. Plenty of juice and coffee options. Fruit, oatmeal, cereal, hot sauce(S), soy Milk ( I used it to cream my coffee), biscuits, sweets, pastries, Etc. It was so nice having coffee with a non-dairy options. As someone with a sensitive stomachs I truly feel like I was thought of and there were options. Also, loved that I could wash my hands right there before I started making my plate and also after when my hands hands syrup on them. Even had paper towels to wipe down our table for those just coming to the breakfast room.
Overall I feel happy, rested, well fed, entertained, and treated very well. Would recommend....
Read moreOn a recent trip to Laramie a few weeks back, I chose to stay here at this hotel for a night with my family. Laramie isn't far from my hometown of Cheyenne but my visits to Laramie are infrequent at best. So it goes without saying I'm not too experienced with the hotel market in Laramie and which ones are good to stay at. I chose Days Inn because the price was affordable for two rooms. First, there is good and bad with the location. I wish it were a little closer to the heart of Laramie like close to the downtown area because there are more places to eat. The location wasn't all bad though because you can easily get on the highway from where it's located. Overall it was a good stay. I give it a 4.5 out of 5. The customer service was adequate. The only time I talked to an employee was to check in and she was cordial and straight to the point. The check in process went pretty smoothly. An area of interest in any hotel is the pool area. As for their pool, it was a tad small but my kids still enjoyed it. It's always great when a hotel has a hot tub so it's a plus that they had one. Also, their dining room was nice and very well put together. They actually offer a good free breakfast. Free breakfasts are something to always take advantage of. Now getting to the rooms. I thought they were suitable and generic to what you see in hotels like this. But my only critiques were that my bed sheets did smell a bit like they weren't cleaned properly and our heater/AC unit was really loud like something was wrong with it. Other than those issues it was a fine stay. I will also add that it was generally quiet in the hotel, which is something you want when staying in a hotel. So if you're looking for great value when searching for hotels in Laramie then give this hotel a shot. I will definitely consider staying here again if the desire or need to stay in...
