I want to start by saying that I rarely ever make reviews but I felt it was needed for this stay.

My husband and I don't have a lot of money, barely enough to get by most months but we decided we needed a break and we saved up enough to get out of Maine for a week. The room was about 1100 for 6 nights, for a premium king suite, that was after discounts I had through my membership with hotels.com

For some people that's nothing, for us...it was the most we ever spent at a hotel. So we expected better quality than what we recieved.

The rooms: The shower was the best part however there was mold in multiple spots and some weird rust spots on the floor of the shower. We only had 1 body towel, half a roll of toilet paper, and the shampoo was about two pumps to empty.

The bed: There was a big stain on our comforter, and a few hairs underneath the top sheet, we used our own blanket until the last night where it was cold enough for us to go ask for another comforter. The bed was super uncomfortable for both of us but that's not a huge deal.

Room service: When we got to the room there was a menu that said for in room service call 001, It also stated on the website that they had in room dining. We decided to try breakfast, the menu did not list what fillings or sides they had so I sent a message to the front desk. After 40 minutes of waiting I called he told me he hadn't logged into the messaging yet because he was busy. Once he read the message he said he didn't know the answer. Which I found odd if I was supposed to order through him. Turns out, they don't have room service. He had no idea what menu I was talking about. We ended up ordering from doordash.

Housekeeping: There is a sticker on the mirror in the bathroom that states that housekeeping is every other day. We waited a few days, no housekeeping. We later found out that you have to ask...I've never heard of having to ask especially when the mirror says they do it every other day and nobody asked at check in if we wanted it or not. Very disappointed. We ended up having to go to the front desk and asking for everything that would normally be replenished.

Bar: They didn't seem too interested in us when we tried ordering, the guy complained that he had to do food and the bar, which while I understand the struggle I don't care to hear the complaints while I'm trying to order a drink. He also couldn't make anything I asked for, simple fruity drinks(didn't seem to have anything except straight up alcohol drinks) and he didn't offer anything that I might like instead. However...with the business men and the women there for the event, he was pleasant and talked them through all their drinks.

Pool: The pool is super small which isn't a huge deal but the chemicals are so so strong. We both got a headache after 30 ish minutes swimming. I go to a hotel spa pool every week and I've never smelt chemicals that strong, the water was also freezing but again...a small detail.

The woman who got us our blankets, towels, toilet paper, and soaps...was super sweet and the nicest person we met there. Every other worker didn't seem to care much and gave so much mis matched information.

The biggest flaw by far was the incorrect information in rooms. Everything else is small and I probably wouldn't have made this review. This hotel was severly disappointing and I would not return to it or ones...

I have never had anything bad to say about this hotel... Infact my husband and I stayed here frequently however after our last interaction we have decided to take our business elsewhere.... I give my three strike rule every were and this time iv had it. Our first bad interaction we ever had was being told my service dog wasn't allowed in the pool room with me while I went for a swim... But then getting yelled at for leaving her up in the room while I was down going for a swim.... The second bad interaction was my room was comple disaster when I got in called down to complain and due to being booked full I wasn't able to change rooms.... My third interaction with them that just sent me over the edge was being told I couldn't bring my vested service dog into breakfast nook while I get food with my husband before we packed up and left.... I tried to vers the manager in ada law but she wasn't having it... I then went up to my room to pack my belongings up and she then called up to the room and said "I'm sorry Ijust looked it up she is allowed to be with you." Here's the problem you can apologize but you deliberately tried to do something extremely illegal one and two the fact that the manager of that hotel isn't well versed in service dog rules is a problem. You should have a sign up in the breakfast area much like every other hotel I have been to that says service dogs only. You can ask for them to be properly identified as well. It's very heartbreaking to say the least that I won't be going back as I love the staff there and I love the hotel as a whole... But the manager has made me not like to stay there.... As a hotel that welcomes service dogs and pets you should be versed in the ada law. Im not telling anyone to not go there I think it's a lovely place but I am saying that it's not a great place to stay if your furry partner (not pet, not friends) us visibly vested it shouldn't even come as a question if the dog is a service dog as soon as you see that best that dogs has rights to the same places as it's...

We got the best price of the better hotels in the area. Breakfast is not always included, but ours was. The rooms are more compact than others, kind of like older motels. The bathroom has a sliding door to save space. The microwave and fridge are tiny and cheap. The lobby is beautiful and blends modern with natural. However, the coffee carafes are not refilled during the day, and decaf and hot water aren't always available like other hotels have. Unless you have GPS finding the hotel property can be difficult. There are no signs where to turn. There is no access from the main road. So you have to take secondary roads to get there. They are building a event center now. When it opens parking could be a major problem. Our first morning we had a flood in our room. The very modern shower has a drain cover and my wife couldn't see it was blocked with hair. The housekeeping lady that helped us said both the maid and the supervisor should have checked after the previous client left. The front desk comped us another breakfast as compensation. All well and good but it put us very behind schedule. The hotel breakfast is quite good and special orders are included. Other hotels will let you have a guest or two for breakfast but not here. For $12.95 + tip per person we might check out the truck stop nearby. The Keurig in the room makes good coffee but the K-cups are limited. When we checked in the room rate was wrong and we were told it was corrected. When we checked out it had to be corrected again. Sounds fishy. We would stay again if we got a really good deal. Otherwise, we would...

Had a family get together in Lebanon, and there is really no other local facility with an event center AND hotel in this area. In that sense, our $230 rate (plus taxes) without ANY breakfast wasn't too terrible, but it was still comparably high for shoulder season (after summer and before leaf peeping). This is off a side road with nothing else in walking distance but you can still hear road noise outside (not inside). Nice tree and hillside views from their large patio with plentiful seating. Staff were fine, and the bar gentleman was working his butt off (serving dinner and drinks by himself). Nice free coffee / tea / hot chocolate bar in the lobby. Keurig machines in the rooms too with a few pods (not sure how helpful after first day, since they rarely do room cleaning). Breakfast buffet is $20 after taxes which is a joke unless you are on an expense account - definitely drive 2 miles to The Fort at Exit 18 which is amazing. Hotel is spotless clean and very modern and feels brand new, same with the rooms which are large and immaculate. Large and hot walk-in shower. Old school (but well functioning) window / wall air conditioning unit. Gotta be honest, feels weird paying this much for a Garden Inn, basically in the middle of nowhere, but I appreciate there are use cases and the place and facilities are very nice. I got a good laugh at them offering "complimentary housekeeping" only if requested or every 5 effing days, what will they give us "for free" next - a parking spot and a pillow? Hahaha.

The Hilton Garden Inn in Lebanon, NH offers a delightful escape with its convenient location and commendable amenities. Nestled in the picturesque Upper Valley, this hotel provides a perfect blend of comfort and convenience, suitable for both the weary business traveler and the leisure-seeker. From the moment you step into the lobby, the staff welcomes you with warmth that might make you feel like you've just walked into a friend's living room rather than a hotel. The rooms are well-appointed, featuring modern comforts and a homely ambiance that can turn a simple stay into a rejuvenating retreat. Each room serves as a cozy nook away from home with comfortable beds that almost whisper "good night" as you lay down. The fitness center and indoor pool come as cherries on top, ensuring your routine doesn’t skip a beat while you're away from home. For those who venture out, the location is an advantageous spot with easy access to local attractions and business centers. Whether you're here to finalize a deal or to explore the verdant landscapes of New Hampshire, the Hilton Garden Inn in Lebanon is a reliable choice that promises to enhance your stay with its impeccable service and pleasing facilities.

The Good: The hotel appears to have either been built recently, or recently renovated. It is one of, if not the swankiest Hilton Gardens I've stayed at. Everything was clean and modern. Staff was helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable, and the room was quiet. Also, it was nice to be able to crack the window open and get some fresh air. The Bad: I don't know who chose their refrigerator for the room, but they should be slapped. The LAST thing I want is to have a glass front refrigerator lighting up my room all night when such a good job was done to limit light bleed around the door and window. Thankfully, it was easy to "fix" by laying a towel over the front. The Ugly: Another person that needs to be slapped is the person at corporate is saying sliding doors on the bathrooms is a great idea. NO ONE wants to hear their loved one using the bathroom. This is the second Hilton I stayed at this week with a sliding door for the bathroom. This one thing alone is enough for me to consider switching franchises even if I do mostly business travel because it tells me that corporate is not hiring people that understand traveling.
