This was a nice hotel. Unfortunately, we found a burnt chair in our room, scratches all over the dining table (which is ok but, we just didn’t want to get blamed for anything so, we immediately reported it), the tv was on the side wall which was extremely uncomfortable since, we had to have our heads turned to the left the entire night just to be able to watch tv, they could have just put the tv on the wall directly in front of the beds, remote didn’t work so, we had to ask for another one, there was no ventilation fan in the bathroom so, if you wanted a bit of privacy to drown out the noises from using the toilet or get the unwanted scent out, you can’t and everyone in the room is stuck smelling your flushed number 2 which is not pleasant so, i was really surprised this ventilation fan wasn’t already installed.
Breakfast was nice but, they put cheese all inside the eggs and items that had milk all inside of it and I’m lactose intolerant so, I couldn’t eat breakfast there. So sad since i love my morning breakfast. They could have had a Non-dairy milk or dry oatmeal and or dry cheerios which are non dairy and or plain fruit, cooked plain scrambled eggs or even allowed us to cook our own scrambled eggs so, we wouldn’t add milk or cheese in them. They had a fantastic waffle maker but, no ingredients shown so, I couldn’t eat that either but, if they added a non dairy waffle mix, then it would have been a fantastic stay! (Just put the ingredients on a stand for allergies and it would have been great to know what i could have had or not able to eat. I don’t want to end up in the hospital.)
They just need to understand they will have guests with dietary and or allergy restrictions so, they need to try to be open to all needs. The large refrigerator and everything in the kitchen was great! Thank you for asking how...
Read more📍 Stay date: Saturday, May 24, 2025 I had a very disappointing experience at TownePlace Suites Leesburg. On the night of my stay, I tried many times to turn off the air conditioner in my room, but it simply would not shut off. The noise was extremely loud and disturbing. I even went to the front desk for help, and the staff told me to press the “off” button and wait—but nothing happened. The wall thermostat was also broken.
At around 3 a.m., I was woken up by the noise again and tried once more to turn it off, without success. I recorded a video of the issue and sent it to the hotel as feedback. Unfortunately, the response I received was arrogant and unhelpful. The manager claimed the A/C could be turned off and insisted it was my fault for not operating it correctly.
I’m 38 years old and confident that I have enough common sense to perform such a basic task. I highly doubt the manager even watched the video I sent. There was no apology for my poor experience. I asked them to record a video showing how to turn off the A/C so I could learn from it, but they refused, saying they "didn't have permission"—which is frankly ridiculous.
I have stayed in hotels across at least ten different countries, and encountered service staff from diverse cultural backgrounds. Every single time, I was treated with respect and professionalism—even in more budget-friendly hotels. Ironically, none of those stays cost as much as this one (over $150 per night), and yet the service here was the most disappointing.
I’m sharing my video here so future guests can decide for themselves whether they’ll be able to control the A/C system in this hotel room before booking. Think twice before...
Read moreVisited the area for an extended business trip and chose TownePlace Suites due largely to the availability of a kitchenette. Chose a King bed studio room, which also has a fold-out couch. The room was reasonably well appointed for the price with a microwave, 2-burner stove, full size refrigerator, full size coffee maker (with typically atrocious coffee, I brought my own) The bed was firm and comfortable, the pillows were predictably awful. Walk in shower was nice with complimentary body wash, shampoo, and conditioner- all were surprisingly okay. Complimentary breakfast was the usual fare- bagels, scones, bread for toast, terrible scrambled eggs (powdered or liquid, not sure), pork sausage which was good, and a make your own waffle station with various toppings that was also not bad. The juice machine dispensed brown orange juice which I obviously didn't try. Also cereal and oatmeal with various toppings available. I wasn't able to do much cooking due to a lack in utensils and strangely, despite having two pots, the room had no skillet. I enquired at the desk and was told there was no pan anywhere to be had. They have a guest laundromat, a modestly appointed fitness room, and a decent swimming pool. Front desk help was overall very good, with the exception of a grumpy red-headed lady on the last night of my stay. She didn't seem to want to be bothered, which I get, but hey, it's your job so fake it at least, eh? Special kudos to Jeffrey who was about the most pleasant guy I've ever met. Truly a boss. Anyway, ok room, overall good service, just several little issues that keep TownePlace Suites from being anything...
