Clean? Sure! Decent rooms? Yes. Started off by checking in asking why a "group" rate was the same price as normal pricing and received an eye roll from the lady at the front desk, then we asked why another group members room was only 129 a night and received a mouthy rude answer that 129 isn't even a standard rate (why I posted pic) and how this is the only accomodations in Ada and they can pretty much charge what they wish! Found that comical! Came back from the wedding and a frat party was being held in the lobby, to the point you couldn't have a conversation unless you completely left the area! Ordered food and immediately was harassed about standing in the lobby/bar area with "outside" food and how it's not allowed! Wasn't sitting in the lobby eating, was standing waiting for my party so we could go upstairs to eat! Meanwhile the regulars and locals had the same pizza I did eating 10 feet away from me plus another two empty boxes in the trash! Then we got a lashing that glasses weren't to go outside when in reality we were actually cleaning up after ourselves and taking the empty glasses back to the bar! Also the short little cross eyed peanut built guy behind the desk acted like I was going to rob the place and followed us to our room. Very rude and judgemental staff, is it worth 129, 168 or 229 a night? Not by a long shot! Next time we will just take a Lyft home and save the money! For those prices you could find waaayyyyy better, maybe not on the big campus however I'd prefer a short ride from wherever then be judged and attacked by the front desk Nazis! I'm sure they will count how many plates and cups of coffee we have in the morning and make sure we don't pass our allotted amount from our breakfast cards. Apparently if your a regular at the bar you can do as you wish! Don't expect to go to the bar or lobby and expect to hold a normal conversation unless your literally ready to scream over the frat partys! Sorry however your front desk/hall monitors ruined anything positive I felt about this establishment! Perhaps I should have offered that big ole lady a slice of pizza, maybe things would have...
Read moreI recently got married in Ada, OH, and we used this hotel for our wedding block. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We had a very difficult time trying to book our rehearsal dinner at the hotel — communication was terrible. We had to call almost every day to reach the planning coordinator, leaving multiple voicemails that were never returned.
When we finally got in touch in March (our wedding was in October), we were told they wouldn’t know until October whether we could even have our rehearsal dinner there. This was especially frustrating because when we initially toured the hotel, everything seemed great — they made the process sound simple and we were excited to host our dinner there. However, once we began trying to finalize details, the staff became unhelpful and, at times, rude.
The poor communication and attitude also affected our guests, several of whom shared that their interactions with the staff were unpleasant. We were also told during our tour that we would be placed in the suite for our wedding night, but when it came time to book, that room wasn’t even made available to us and we were given a regular room instead.
While the rooms themselves were clean and comfortable, the overall service and professionalism were severely lacking. If you’re considering this hotel for a wedding block or event, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere based on the service...
Read moreMy son was attending a soccer camp at ONU so we decided to stay on campus at The Inn. Heather was extremely helpful and accommodating with our check out needs. Every staff member we interacted with was very kind and helpful. Because of the length of the camp and COVID, there wasn’t much to do but hang out in the lobby after checkout. Dustin (?? at the front desk) overheard my boredom discussion and kindly offered me a map of the University’s “Green Monster” track - it passed the time, but I do not recommend on a 95° day. And last but not least, Chelsea at the Pub was so nice!! After my defeat at the hands of the “Green Monster”, she was very attentive and offered additional water. ||The Inn was beautiful, clean, and everything looked new. The room was exactly what we needed and included a small gift bag of snack goodies. I highly recommend the Sunshine Package which includes dinner and breakfast. The food was very good. ||Every staff member wore a mask and precautions were made with breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. ||I know it sounds like I’m gushing over a hotel, but this was really one of the nicest places we’ve stayed - and the nicest people too. It may be a little more pricey than other hotels, but it’s worth it - especially if you have something at...
