Unchanged, filthy pillows with bile on them, soaked through case into pillow. Other pillow, flipped it over, black mold. Room card-key repeatedly failed during stay, but no one available to redo it. So basically locked out for an hour and after that, I left the door "safety bar" as an obstruction to keep my door open when I left, assuring I could get back in. Outside door at end of hallway was never secured, so... very risky. Anyone could walk in and go right in my room while I was out. ||||Sht show from the get go. No one on site when I arrived just after 6pm on a Sunday. Called the number to get the "on call" person to come over, but it was transferred by an automated service to another line. No answer. Left voicemail. Repeated this every 10 minutes for 40 minutes. Finally got a person, but they were at a loud party and I had to repeat my name to her 9 times, though it's a simple English name. And spell it out. Repeatedly. ||||Said I had no reservation, though I had made my reservation the week prior to my arrival. Didn't seem to understand that I would need a room. Finally got that across, and they understood they should begin booking me. But then asked me my name again and to spell it out. Several times. Then told me to wait for someone to come give me a key. ||||Someone came after a bit, but was seemingly ignoring me, shaking her head, as though she was just housekeeping and couldn't get me a room. But when I kept trying to get her attention (she was in the office, through a glass window), I got her to understand I needed to check in. Please find someone to check me in my room. But then *she got me a key and told me how she was alone and had been working without sleep. She wasn't the one I talked to on the phone, who I believe was a remote owner.||||For check out? I NEED a receipt for reimbursement. I still haven't been able to get one and may be out of luck. I've returned to the hotel several times now, and called that number. After a couple hours, I got someone at that number, who told me my emailed reservation confirmation was my receipt. But it does not show a zero balance nor does it have a night by night itemization -- required for reimbursement by the...
Read moreDO NOT BOOK A RESERVATION AT THIS HOTEL!! We just left from a family wedding weekend and the incompetence of this ownership/management group is unbelievable. From last minute changes to their cancellation policy, to lost reservations, to overbooking, refusing to refund an additional night a guest did not request, not to mention unaccomodating disabled guests. No matter how hard you try, you can NOT get ahold of a staff member. One guest tried to call them for an entire week before their stay and ask for a change and noone ever answered or returned her call.
They promised continental breakfast to a fully booked motel. We were all disappointed to find this meant a few hard boiled eggs and oatmeal packets which caused most to scramble and find other options in town (Gas station sandwiches or Subway are only options).
Motel is not kept up-thick dust and grime on many surfaces, dollar store 4th of july decor still hung up in September, room keys not working... so much more we could add that made a family wedding weekend unnecessarily stressful. One family had to drive back to Minneapolis right after the wedding dinner because they didn't have a house keeping staff member to clean an available room!
By the way, they give you 10% off your next stay if you write a review. Don't bother to send me that coupon. We will NEVER be back. Unless they get rid of their current ownership/management group (which we found out is based out of Chicago), I'd recommend you stay away as well!...
Read moreIf I could rate a ZERO - it would be too high! I can also confirm - DO NOT BOOK A RESERVATION AT THIS HOTEL!! We also just left from a family wedding weekend and this is by far the most miserable hotel I've ever experienced. No staff available during our entire stay - only for the 15 minutes at check-in. Our party of 5 traveling from out of town and overseas had confirmed all reservations by phone in advance (with someone who did not speak native English). Only to then arrive and learn that the room booked for a 92 old disabled family member was on the 2nd floor, with no elevator. The room for another family member was not reserved, despite being confirmed by phone and our credit card charged. The rooms were unclean, to the point we had to purchase cleaning supplies at the nearby gas station to clean the bathrooms! Trash was overflowing. The so called "continental breakfast" was not included - joke (pic attached of the fine selection at 8:00 am). Leaving the choice of gas station gruel or Subway in this area - delicious! To top it off, the price of these rooms are a complete rip off for this location (big city prices of $200+). Needless to say, we have requested a full refund for our...
