Pizza Ranch — Restaurant in Lisbon

Disappointed on a Friday Night. Although the chicken was still good, this Pizza Ranch did not live up to standards I’m used too when I lived in southern Minnesota. Unlike there, this PR had several items in the buffet left empty, like mashed potatoes, salad bar items, and breadsticks. Unlike there, this PR only had pepperoni as ‘standard pizza’ in the buffet. Where’s the sausage, beef, all-meat, ham or something else? The other pizzas in the buffet were all thin crust specialty pizzas which looked like they were left over from lunch. Most of all, there were three uncleared tables around me I watched customers have to walk by to get another table. I guess the further you get from the “PR Holy Land” of Hull Iowa, the less you have to care about...

Very poor food quality, had issues a couple months ago, but thought I would give it another chance and they proved me right, good was old, potatoes cold, apparently it's super hard to count to 8, because we paid for 8 pieces of chicken, we got 7 the equaled to about 3 pieces. I'm more upset that my hard earned money was used to pay for this than I am about being shorted food. It the principal of the matter, I paid for food and a service to have it prepared and I did not get what I paid for! Employees have no idea what is going on in the store. Highly recommend driving out of town to get food, at least it will be a meal and not have to throw half of it in the garbage. The pizza was ok tho...but $32 for a medium pizza is completely...

I've stopped here on and off for years while passing through (not from the Lisbon area). Every time I go, the place is clean and well staffed. Got to talking with the older man working, and found its a family owned place, and his two daughters were working at the time! We got the buffet and they asked what pizza I was looking for, and I just casually mentioned that if pepperoni is out there, I'm a happy man! 10 minutes later he brings a fresh pepperoni out of the oven and serves us right at the table! We left stuffed with a good salad bar, great homemade chips, all the pizza we could manage, and more ice cream that we should have had. Never had a bad time at this one, and it's right on par with Fargo...
