The "James Wright" listed below is my dad. He pulled in and left after 2 hours because of the condition of the sites. HE was on site #4 and now has to get his camper repaired because of the power shortages in YOUR outlets. My wife, Traci, did not once threaten anyone. She is a commercial insurance agent, and she brought it to their attention that there are many liabilities with the shortcits they have made to put a campground together in a short amount of time. We asked what you guys could do for us to help our stay be a safer and and more pleasurable experience, and we were offered 1 night refunded back to us or choose a site in the far back of the campground that was still under construction. We appreciated the offer and we took a drive back there to take a look just to see that all of those sites are on very steep slopes. She had to ask 3 times for a refund so that we could try to find somewhere else to go on short notice. The flooding on the sites with the shortages in the electrical boxes is a very dangerous hazard for our dogs and young children, so yes, we were upset when we started getting blamed for the condition of the sites and that it was our camper that was causing issues. Traci and I have never left reviews before, so I'm not sure where you're getting your information. We had very high hopes for your new facility, but the staff did not call in an electrician like they said they would, they did not pump the water out of our site like they said they would, and they never came to our site with the bails of straw that they were handing out as a means of dealing with the mud. We had no choice but to leave because you were completely booked and had nowhere for us to move to. We did find another campground an hour away and our camper and power cables work just fine. The office manager was friendly to talk with, but the other staff on the grounds kept telling us to give them a break because they've been working since 7 am. Our power went out around 2pm and we waited and waited for everything to be fixed and ended up having to leave around 7:30pm because there were no solutions being provided. I received a cancellation email, hopefully the refund will actially come through as promised by the staff.

This is a newer campground. Talked to the owner (?) and said it has been open for about two years. Lots of construction going on. Lots of mud and gravel all over the place. My husband barely slid off the very narrow blacktop and instantly sank in. I went to talk to someone about it and they came in right away with multiple loads of gravel. We had to ask for a picnic table and they brought one right away. We brought our dogs and that turned out good. They have a game room for the kids with ping pong and video games. A basketball court putt putt, and a large inflatable bounce thing. You need to sign a waver for if you want to let your kids bounce. We brought our bikes but seemed pointless to have. There’s barely enough room to walk besides your camper and truck and all sites are packed in like sardines. Lots are extremely small and not even remotely level. Paved lots are not level. Mud everywhere. Overflowing dumpsters. Out of order bathrooms and pop machines. Every bit of grass is covered by poison ivy nearby. They did help us out immediately when we needed the help but detail, detail, detail is what’s missing. Brand new trees coming out of the ground, bags of mulch laying around, mud, holes, caution tape, piles of gravel. It’s a beautiful place but it seems as if they’re in a bit over their heads in a very small, cram packed campground. We had a full hook up and requested a 50amp lot but they called a week before and said would 30 be efficient enough. It was but they said if 30 wasn’t enough they wouldn’t have a 50 for us and we reserved this spot 5 months in advance. Overall it was a full hookup with a place to stay. This’s place has extremely good potential when they get things in order. Handicapped accessible lots, showers, bathrooms. Wifi available. Very spotty. Couldn’t run a movie. Extremely sharp incline coming in with the camper. Couldn’t see the drive over the front of our truck it was so steep. Our truck did ok with it but spun a little bc of all the sand on the pavement. Driveway is very narrow with two campers passing. We won’t be back to this campground.

Worse place ever stayed. Sites are a mud pit they give you straw to keep you out of mud. Electric failed. Sites are to narrow cant get into with out running off the road in to the mud. Nothing complete. Manager sympathetic but workers the worse argumentative. We drove 4.5 hrs. just to turn around and go back after getting covered in mud. Do not go here. Demanded a refund will see if I get my $427.00 back. UPDATE - This facility continues to deny their responsibilities regarding maintenance, service and false advertising on their website. They do not return my calls and sent me a notice recognizing me leaving but calling it a cancelation by me. This notice also states all normal cancelation policies apply. They are trying to get away with out giving me a full refund. As a license Building Official in the State of Mi I want to point out that despite this owners claim found under Traci Wright review. I checked and tested the power at both site # 4 and #5 . One leg of the 50amp service was not working also ground and bonding issues exist. This condition is a life safety issue that could seriously hurt someone or as what has happened to me caused damage to my campers leveling system. I just left my dealer after driving all night back home then another 4hrs round trip. this morning across Mi to Grand Rapids to take to dealer. It was found that due to they shorting issue and lack of a consistent ground at this location my self leveling controller has been damaged at a cost of $1500 it will need to be replaced and reprogramed. It will be 2 weeks before I get my trailer back.. I am going to notify the local building authority of this life safety issue and check if this facility ever applied for, received and had inspected this campground. I will also check with the zoning authority and planning commission to see if they have received approval for this site and what conditions were put in place. Once again I would not recommend this facility it had a great opportunity to be a nice place but greed and lack of knowledge of the camping industry has turn this place into a hell hole. One last point as my son was leaving last night he stopped at the dump station to rinse mud off of camper himself when he turned on the water at the single service station the valve burst and blew water all over him soaking him to the skin. Beware UPDATE: In response to your reply It was not my Wife you spoke with but my Daughter in Law I was on site 4 my son and daughter in-law on site 5. I ARRIVED A DAY AFTER THEM. Right now they are at another campground no electrical issues as soon as they hooked up last night. So how could it be their trailer as you allege? My trailer is in the dealership being repaired because of the electrical short and lack of proper grounding at your facility . We never had the opportunity to set up your electrical system fried my leveling computer. As stated I tested it myself I am fully qualified to do so I am a Building official in Mi. You had power on only one leg of the 50amp service and intermittent grounding. If you willingly take people's money and offer a service and something goes wrong caused by your equipment and service you need to own it not blame others. As stated I will be contacting the local building authority and filling a complaint meanwhile Myself and my son expect full refunds. I hope many see this review and your pompous reply people are not stupid. What about the 3 other guest last night that also...
