Florida Vacation Connection — Hotel in Longboat Key

If you’re looking for a beautiful and quiet place to stay for your Florida vacation look no further then Lido Key!

As someone who grew up vacationing to Siesta Key, I can assure you we will be Lido Key vacationers now! The house we booked was perfectly situated on a quiet street just minutes from anything you need. The house was beautifully remodeled to modern style and had a huge outdoor area.

From the house you could see the entrance to Lido Key Beach and it was just a 3 minute walk across the street to put your toes in the sand!

St. Armands Circle was an easy 14 minute walk from the house with sidewalks to get you there! If you don’t feel like walking or paying for parking in St. Armonds, we suggest the VEO electric bike and scooter rentals! These can be found in multiple locations around the Key with the closest to the house being the ones at the entrance of Lido Key Beach (a 3 minute walk from the house). We would go to the beach in the mornings then jump on the scooters/bikes and head over to St. Armands for brunch at Daiquiri Deck, Crisp Waffle, or Meaney’s Mini Donuts!

This was the first time we’ve booked with a company through AirBnB and we are impressed! The FLVacation representatives are fast to respond and very accommodating! Except for the view, this condo was disappointing on all fronts. Although they charge paid $350 for a cleaning charge, the floors were filthy when we got there (our socks were black). No ammenities…. One roll of toilet paper per bathroom for two weeks. No basics like S &p or even a coffee filter. The twin beds in the second bedroom were extremely old and need replacing. They left about 6 oz of dishwashing soap. The bar soap was a sliver. The dryer took 7 hours to dry one load. All appliances need replacing. Linens were not fresh and didn’t feel at all fresh or clean. Not enough facecloths for 4. Not enough towels and some had stains. The icemaker was broken. The absolute best vacation for the money during our peak summer vacation time is Sarasota, FL. In particular Long Boat Key. You see, it is their off season during July, Aug, & Sept. It's like being at your own private beach. The best way to figure it out is by letting Fl Vacation Connection help fix you up. My favorite by far was the Beach House. It takes you back to your childhood. It is a great place! You can stay for less money at the Inn on the Beach condos. Very nice, but more people on the beach. The restaurants are great and the water makes you think you are in the Caribbean. Manatees can be seen swimming up the beach. You can fly Allegiant to St Pete, rent a car and be on the beach in about 40 minutes. All this for what you are going to pay for just a house at all of our regular beaches in SC. Call...
