Bayfront Park — Attraction in Longboat Key

One of the nicest parks on the Gulf side of Florida. They have Wi-Fi and covered space with tables so you can work with a beautiful view of the inter coastal while catching a fish or two on a break 😍. I’ve had manatee encounters and rarely is the park so busy you can’t find a spot to park. We were looking for a place on Longboat Key to get a view of Sarasota Bay that wasn't a private road and found Bayfront Park I concur with all the points posted in the previous review. I am a bit of a bird watcher so I was delighted to see a raft of 1000+ red breasted mergansers right off the jetty....

Very nice small park on Longboat Key with benches in the shade and sun. There are very pleasant shorter loop trails, children’s playground and tennis courts. Picnic tables, fishing pier and a fenced in dog area.
