Econo Lodge Lordsburg I-10 — Hotel in Lordsburg

It's October 19th 2019. We traveled to see the Big Boy 4014. My husband and I are traveling with his parents. So we didn't pay for the room, and we definitely didn't pick the hotel. His parents made reservations back in September. Must say the pictures online verses in person are totally different. The room doors face outside, I personally don't like that. We got to our room late and where just ready to sleep. As soon as we walked in we noticed the first layer of blankets on both beds where full of hair. And our night stand was still dirty from the previous guest. Granted I wanted to complain but I was exhausted. There was also patches of wall that looked like it had been damaged. Honestly wasn't worried about that. I must say the convenient thing was the night stand had a multi-plug box. Which came in handy for charging all our devices. Thankful the AC and the TV worked as well. The beds in our room were low to the ground and the beds we're not the best. Must say though the walls are like paper thin. I swear the people above us were going to fall through. We could hear our neighbors tv. Over all the the room wasn't bad just some things needed a closer look. So alot of people we spoke to recommended this restaurant across the street. Kranberry something. I'm hoping we just caught them on a bad night. To get a table it took about 40 mins. Then just to get our food it was another hour or so... The food was Luke warm, the salsa was too watery, didn't think someone could screw up red and green chili. What new Mexico is known for. Very very disappointing. I'm pretty sure our check was over $50 dollars. I was trying to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. But if I'd known the food was going to be terrible I wouldn't have stayed. (My fault should have just settled for Circle K food). Can't say I would recommend this restaurant, try at your own risk. It is now 6:40am October 20th 2019. I am sicker then sick. I definitely won't be going back to that restaurant anytime soon. *So after checking in, the front desk lady comes out to our truck and asks to bum a cigarette off my husbands parents because she's craving it and is trying to stop. We are all traveling in the same vehicle. If it were me I would have respectfully told her we don't smoke and to back away from my vehicle. But our parents thought she was nice. I guess it was the fact she got to close to the truck that I was triggered. I carry for this...

This is hard to belive but I swear on my life this is true. Me and my son arrived this hotel at 3am on a sunday night in a Uhaul truck. We were exhausted and booked the room on my phone in the parking lot. Booked it for Sunday APril 28th becasue it was SUnday. I was tired and made a mistake becasue it was for check in at 3pm not 3 am Sunday. We walked into the hotel and this is where it gets hard to belive. I rang the bell over and over at counter. My son walked over to an oen door down the hall 10 feet and jump in shock. I went over and there was a woman laying on the tile floor in a strange position like she had fallen. I saw she was holding a brown galss pipe in her hand. Crack pipe maybe??? I thought Oh crap an overdose. I started yelling HEY are you OK - nothing. HEY are you OK. I did this about 4 times almost as loud as I could yell. I was getting ready to call 911 and then I took 1nother step towrd her and yelled HEY. She jumped up and scared the crud out of me. Ended up telling me our reservation was for 3pm not 3am and they were booked and dont give refunds. I esplained I just booked the room in the parking loit ext. I ended up calling the 800 # and they also would not refind my money. I stay at choice hotels probally 10 to 15 times a year and was shocked. So try your hardest to not stay at a choice hotel becasue they are like robots and dont care about people or families and didnt seem to care about the woman employee witha glass pipe in her hand layong on the floor. I asked them to please review the camers that I saw. That would verify my story. They didnt care and just said sorry we dont give refunds. not even when you make a booking mistake at the hotel and try to fix it 5 minutes later...

I booked the room through an external merchant online at 8am. when I arrived at 3, the clerk found my reservation and checked me in. I told her that I needed to lay down since I had hurt my back. I had to wait an hour and 40 mins for the room to be cleaned before I could go in even though check in time was listed as 3 (I had already been waiting for hours in pain to be able to check in). Upon getting into the room, I was disappointed to find that there was a gap of crumbling wall between the air conditioner and the window that let in air and light, the bathroom shower was dirty w hair that wasn’t mine in it, and there were no washcloths. I laid down bc I was in pain, and woke the next morning still hurting. Bc of this I called the front desk to add another evening of stay since I couldn’t move easily to drive. I was assured that was fine on the phone, then a housekeeping person came to my door 15 minutes later to tell me that the front desk needed me to come down to speak w them. I went to the desk and was told that my card didn't work, so I handed them another card. They ended up running 2 charges, one for $76 which was NOT the rate of the room and it’s still pending almost a week later. I need this money for gas. I will never stay at this location again. Also the cleaning team was using drugs outside while I was waiting in my car for them to clean it the first day. Please return my funds and...
