Flores Motel — Hotel in Los Angeles

My family and I came here for 3 days from November 10th to November 12th, 2023. It was not a good experience. Had a $5 dollar deposit. They give Wifi. We were on the bed and our lil one was like mom, dad, a roach is on the bed 🛌 😳. We ran out of that bed so quick, you would have taught was Flash. (Barey Allen) iykyk. I must have killed over 5 roaches. Also killed a spider. They do not give towels late because of Covid. One of the gentlemen told us they didn't get to fix the other bed so have to do some make shift stuff, that was the one for our lil one. .The insulation in this place is horrible. The bathroom is cold, cold (I stress), and small. Do not even mess with the heater, dusty. The door knob doesn't lock inside like a typical door, no latch. They said, "Don't worry, once you are inside it close." He said to keep windows closed. Apparently, they had incidents where persons may try to pry open the window, and obviously, if you want sunlight, you wouldn't want to they can see inside with your belongings. The towels look dinge, not white at all. Hubby went to throw out the trash. This lady told him Goodday, and he responded went about his business. Her man starts to quarrel what you saying goodday for. Talk about drama. We always keep to ourselves no matter where we go. SMH. When some persons had to leave, they would come and knock on the door. This place needs a definite upgrade, clean the rooms, no one should have to deal with roaches in their bags or shoes, scan the clientele. I wouldn't recommend here period. 211 should not even send anyone here. If you can afford elsewhere, go. Thankful we got a place at short notice but...

This motel leaves much to be desired. You will get burned in the shower, water changes temperature often and dramatically, and that review that says all rooms come with fridge/microwave is false, they do not. But the rooms are nice, seem recently remodeled and clean. The other tenants are terrible usually, I stayed here for three weeks and heard people yelling, banging, and fighting in the small parking lot almost every night. I had strange men knocking on my door more than once looking for someone. This motel is not for the faint of heart.

The saving grace of this motel that I want to emphasize, is that the staff/management truly seem to CARE. They are attentive, understanding, kind, and considerate. The people that work here made me feel safe and important. Respect them and their property that you are renting, they don't deserve all the awful tenants they get. Yes they charge a $5 key deposit, yes they return the deposit when you return the key. If you do not want to pay, the staff are always available and ready to unlock your door for you. They probably have this policy for your own safety, otherwise they couldn't afford to replace the darn locks every time some criminal steals a key and wants to break into your room when you're away or asleep. Yesterday my husband, daughter and I experienced the worst at this motel. Our room was already paid for and the man tried to charge us extra $5.00 for a key holder. The room was nasty and they had roaches. The room was very cold all night, in addition we had to put on extra clothes on. The AC heater did not push out any heat because that right piece was broken, so all we felt was cold air because of that broken piece had a hole. We turned it off and kept each other warm. The shower was very dirty I was afraid to let my 2 year old daughter stand in it. That was a very hard and uncomfortable experience for me because I am 39 weeks pregnant. No one should ever have to go through this. Please don't go...
