Vagabond Inn – Sylmar — Hotel in Los Angeles

Wish I could give a -5 where do I begin. Oh the roaches. When you turn on the light they scattered. Then the most horrible morning was yet to come, about 5:30 am my husband goes to work at LAX . 10 15 min max I hear a light knock. I look out off peep hole a man standing there. I think he will go away. 1 min later he is still knocking I grab my phone start recording. I tell him to leave he doesn't he stands there I scream get out of here I put the camera in the window and he can see my face he is still standing there.. I SCREAM I'm calling the office he slowly pulls his hands of his pocket and he stares at me and FLIPPS me off. I've never seen him ever before I am in my window my pitbull puppy barks. 7:45 seconds later he goes down stairs but stops to flip me 2 more times... I call my husband. He come back. He watches the video, and was going to the front office. Yes we called the office no one came 45 min no one came from the office or security. My husband open the door and he says honey is this the guy. I open the door I look same man same shirt same . Yes but my puppy runs down the stairs. He asked that man what he is doing. And the man walks from the property with no help from security no help from any manager. Only help was the witness . I grabbed my dog put her back went to the office. The 2 men standing there started yelling at me over my puppy running out of the room. I said I'm in room ... This man was at my door he said he knows he starts yelling about my dog. Now I'm explain about to cry . I said calmly shaking on inside scared .. I'm a 39 yro woman and a man was at my door for 7:45 seconds.the man is on sitting on the stairs by the room I was staying at . She ran outside. 2 women come into the office and the manager interrupt me said your leaving. I turned and said you don't care that I could have been murdered he said did you open your door. Your still standing here, he looked me in my eyes and bit his lip and looked at the woman making her coffee. I said I feel they should know I had a man at my door 15 min after my husband goes to work . Recording time 7:45. He sees my face 3 min after he knocked so he knows he isn't at the wrong door. If he was at the wrong door he would have left said sorry something and left. But still knocking and flipping me off for another 4 min... Manager made me feel disrespected. I don't sleep well. I have anxiety attacks. I really feel this place isn't safe for a woman especially the way the men at the front office think it is okay for this behavior. Please understand this man wouldn't leave my door. I finally scream at the very top of my lungs I'm calling police. After standing at my door almost 9 minutes. The management security never came to see if I was ok . Never. Women be careful please don't stay there . It's great for Transit homeless drug addict... If anyone wants the video I'll be happy to show 7min...

I try to share my nightmare and horrible experience ever In life with this hotel.I stay there because after visiting doctor in LA I meet the hwy 5 fire closure and are super tired of the trip. I was issued a room and I was so tired and so I feel asleep immediately. in three clock in the middle night. I was ringing up by their service staff rudely. They kick the door loudly and shouting at me to weak me up. Ask me to leave the room I stay because they make a mistakenly issue a wrong room for me. I first rejected because I am so dizzy and it is my right because I book the hotel and pay the fee. they keep knocking the door around and ring me at the same time. after a conversation, the staff said she agree to give me a full refund if I agree to switch to a different room. otherwise they will keep make nosing and knocking the door. I have no choice but have to move all my stuff and luggage’s in the dark night of 3:00am. the next day morning, they took my address and said the manager will mail me a check. after I go home I never received their full refund. I call numerous time and every time I got is the manager is not their and someone will get back to me. the very last time I call is Nov 5th 2022. One of the representative even said:”my manger told me that you did not leave the hotel 3:00AM that night when we woke up you, so you are not able to get the full refund.” they are being lying and not care of their customer’s at all. even it is because of their mismanagement...

Rooms are way to small especially if someone is handicap, beds are also uncomfortable and a bit springy. There are bugs in crevices and bed bugs as well. i’ve been bitten by them one tooo many times. The showers - the water pressure low-key is terrible and the ‘tub’ part of the shower will not drain (it takes a while for it to drain completely but your feet are sitting in dirty water from you washing yourself) the laundry machines are also broken. I would literally go anywhere else if i could but i don’t recommend coming to this Inn. There is a mcdonald’s in walking distance and gas stations so not terrible, but it’s right off the freeway and not worth your money. they do allow animals (cats/dogs) if they’re fully vaccinated. They ‘clean’ the rooms everyday at 10a but somehow there are still bugs in this place. i am disappointed. worst motel i have ever been in. It is also NOT quiet, LA housing uses this motel to have families come here and there are strict rules that literally no one follows especially kids, they be running around screaming at like 9p-10p and definitely do that during the day. If you want someplace quiet i recommend some place else. quick note, there is no fridge for you to store any of your...
