Sterling Motel — Hotel in Los Angeles

I dont know what this "employee" below my comment is talking about. I got a room here for a weekend to have some alone time and lift weights and this place is by far one of the WORST motels i have come across. The rooms are far from remodeled, the only thing done to the rooms was possibly had cheap wood floors put it that are all warped and cracked from possible water damage. Oh and don't forget about all the open, exposed wire from just about every outlet, fixture. All ths furniture is so badly stained and from 20 years ago. You might aquire some awesome bacterial infection from touching it, trust me, you won't even want to touch it. All the sheets and blankets are stained and burnt and stinky, like rotten cheese that has been thrown your grandma 10 year old meatloaf. Half the rooms dont even have heat, and the ones that do is simply just an outstanding little portable electric heater from 1956. ROACHES!!! Did I mention the infestation of ROACHES the entire place has? Inside, outside in the bed, fridge, etc. This place is falling apart and they do nothing to try to fix it. The owner is soo rude and aggressive. Will tell you one price on the phone and it's all of a sudden more expensive when you get there. And the so called "maid" is always yelling and arguing with somebody. You hear her loud cackling voice all day long. And from talking to other guests there, she helps herself to your belongings when she cleans your room. Oh and let's not forget about the totally mistreaded dog that is kept fenced in all day every day. Id be surprised if he even gets fed every day. I went to say hello and saw an open bleeding soar on his neck. The owner is such a bad person, cheapskate, bigot, racist, ignorant person. Absolutely stay away from here, unless your looking to get some disease or infection. This place seriously needs to be shut down. Save your money, go to the...

DO NOT STAY HERE! The staff who work here are lazy, rude, and the service was just awful. The old man at the front office is the absolute worst. Our most recent incident involved him refusing to give us a room just because I had a school I.D. and because he kept assuming we would sneak more people into our room. My older brother, of course, had his I.D. but I'm still 17 and in school, so I haven't had the chance to get my real I.D. We even told him "We're just trying to find a place to stay for the night. We have nowhere else to go." And what was his response? "Not my problem. I don't want problems here. Leave." And then we had to go across town just to find another Motel, and with only 1 bed available. Please, whatever you do, to save you the trouble, don't even come near this place. They should not be earning any...

For the price and location this wasnt bad at all. I stayed for a couple months when i origanlly checked in planning to stay just for the night and hop on to the next motel the next night and the night after that and after that etc. Was a nice transition from no place to live to an affordable and accommodating roof over my head. All the negative reviews, pay attention to the date it was posted please, almost all are from years ago and it has been given a face lift and full make over since then.
