There were a few inconveniences during my stay at Wyndham Hotel in Mansfield PA. Overall the stay itself was convenient as I was traveling for work and the Wyndham was a bit more familiar to me than the other hotel options around. But unfortunately during my stay I did not enjoy it as much based on a few factors including: 1) The last time I stayed back in May 2024 the hotel was under construction, then again in September 2024 the hotel is still under construction and had sections blocked off. As work was being done to the front lobby area, my room was located right next to the lobby so I had experienced the smell of some of the paint being done in the hallways, also not being able to utilize the front doors but having to use the side doors during that time. 2) I'm not sure why, but housekeeping did not come to my room at all during my stay, I was there for 5 days and not once did they come to refill my towels, empty trash, anything. I had to go to front desk myself to ask for more towels and also had to empty my trash in the larger waste bin in the food area/lobby. And 3) the guest staying in the room directly next to mine for at least half (if not all) of my stay was very loud and apparently sick. The walls were very very thin and he was up all night until 2am/3am coughing and spitting up phlegm or mucus ALL night long, each night. Unfortunately I could not sleep due to the noise and hacking sounds the gentlemen had every 20 or 30 mins and it lasted for hours. My first 2 nights I was up until 3am both nights just trying to ignore the sounds and fall asleep. I had to get up at 7am both mornings for work so lack of sleep did not help me throughout my day. Not the best stay...

Lobby is new and has been updated. Staff very friendly and accommodating. This is my third time staying here. Will definitely be back seeing as though the place is now better maintained. Under new management perhaps?
This place could do better but it wasn’t bad for $150 a night. Walls are paper thin. Very small TV in room. Place needs some updating. Bathroom over all was clean, just some minor adjustments needed in thorough cleaning. Room was well stocked with towels and wash cloths which was a big plus. My bed sheets had brown stains on them. They appeared clean otherwise. Room was a bit outdated and some areas weren’t cleaned very well. Room had a stale smell to it but the rest of the hotel smelled like a new house. The rest of the hotel was clean as well. The free breakfast was semi sufficient and very basic. (Frozen egg sandwiches, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, muffins, coffee, juice etc etc) There is a Perkins right next door and if you mention that you stayed at the Microtel you get a 10% discount on...
Read moreAfter our car became disabled on the highway on a Saturday night we needed a place to stay. We are from upstate NY and our family (my husband, myself and our two kids) had been traveling through Pennsylvania. We booked a room at the Mansfield Microtel and have nothing but good things to say. Not only did they find a room for us last minute but when we had a minor complication with the room they refunded us the total bill. On top of that, as I write this, we are trying to figure out a way to get home and the staff here has opened up the meeting room for us to hang out until we can come up with a solution for our transportation issues. Aside from the staff being accommodating, caring, and understanding the hotel itself is great. The rooms have plenty of space and are really nice, there is coffee and juice available 24/7 (trust me we needed that coffee!) And there was a free continental breakfast. I am so impresed and grateful for our experience here. Thank you Microtel Mansfield, you have been...
