Amber was amazing! We had plans to drive through Crystal Mil to the trailhead for Snowmass to camp then climb in the morning. It started raining hard after Carbondale resulting in landslides in the area. When we arrived in Marble we did not know what to do since the roads to the TH were unknown to us and said to be steep with drops. We went to the hotel to check if they had rooms and we met Amber. She said she had a room due to a cancelation but this is where she really helped us. Instead of just renting us the room and collecting the money she gave us options. We wanted to go to the TH to make the next days climb shorter. She called Crystal Mil to check on road conditions. She called on Jeep rentals. She called Crystal Mil and checked on lodging. She asked about ATV rentals. She spent probably half an hour calling around to see what options we had so we could choose what worked for us. It would have been easy to say the road is bad don't go and just collect the money but she was too awesome and caring for that. We decided to stay the night to be safe. The cabin is VERY nice for the price! When we saw it we thought it was a steal and should be twice the price. Amber and the cabin made a bad situation an amazing/memorable one. Thank you so much again for your help Amber. 100% recommend this...

Read moreWe stayed at Beaver Lake Lodge & Cabins in October of 2013 for their Fall Fest which had a incredible line up of music: Firefall, The Samples, Johnny O Band, Dan Sheridan, Johnny Congo, Milemarkers & All the Pretty Horses. The Good family run a first class operation. The grounds are fairly spread out and the entire property is well taken care, so when your walking to the lodge from your cabin you don't have to worry about tripping over any brush or tree limbs. You walk into your cabin and you immediately feel at home. The setting might as well be out of a book written in the 1800's. Surrounded by beautiful mountains & a lake to top it all off. The bonus for our group was all the bands were staying at this hidden gem. Pretty surreal when you take a walk and you end up on The Samples tour manager's RV Bus & get to review the nights activities with him. Just know the Goods can do no Bad. Treat your family & take a trip to this remote haven of peace & tranquility. You will leave recharged & ready to face the ever so hectic world we live...
