I would give this place all 5 stars except there was some damage to one of the walls in our room that needed to be painted. The very clever drawer ignoring board was broken. (they brought us a new one right away) and the table was very wobbly and did not get fixed or replaced during our 3 day stay. The view was pretty good. We stayed in room 7 and there is a very large tree directly across the street from the balcony. The gliders were amazing! I did not really complain about the maintenance issues because I understand that these are challenging times and most places are very short staffed. All of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. You've got to get your Mocha Late' from the cool machine in the breakfast room. The most important thing to me is that the hotel was very, very, clean. I highly recommend this hotel. I feel that we received great value for the money. Hope the restaurant opens soon. I heard from local store owners about how good the food was there.

We didn't stay at the Inn itself, but we are at The Inn Kitchen - so this review will focus on that. The restaurant was clean and cozy feeling. The waitstaff were all friendly. We had reserved the "Terhune Room" for our party, and it was laid out nicely, and was nice because it was a bit quieter than the main restaurant. To start with, they bring out corn bread - it is delicious! It is more like cake than bread, with a nice blend of sweet and savory - everyone at the table loved it! I ordered their Waterfront Lemonade - nice and fruity! I ordered The Farmer's Cut (8oz sirloin - photo), and my partner ordered the Three Cheese Tortellini (pboto). There was a bit of a wait for the entrees to get out to us - but the food was worth it! Incredibly delicious! Bottom line - totally worth the price & wait, but make sure you plan your time!

Cozy Inn on the river. I had beautiful room with gorgeous view, everything was clean and nicely decorated, coffee machine available 24/7 with big variety of hot drinks. They are pet friendly, my dog enjoyed staying there (there is a little park right across the street where you can walk your dog). Very nice and professional staff. They also have cute little restaurant and bar inside. If I’ll have another trip to Marine City will definitely come back to the Inn.

My husband, young son and I stayed at the Inn for 5 nights in July and quite honestly, we’ve never felt more uncomfortable in a hotel. We’ve been visiting Marine City for years, we know the area well and our family has lived here for generations and recommended the Inn.||||As opposed to the staff greeting us when passing by, we greeted them first or no words were exchanged. There were many times the staff did not pause their own personal conversations or phone calls to wave, say 'hello' to or even look in the way of guests.||||I contacted the Inn prior to booking regarding COVID precautions and measures being taken whereas, upon arrival, we had to request our floors be mopped after our 4-year-old spilled water and the rag was black after wiping it up. We were told by the gal cleaning the rooms “it’s weird, we can’t seem to get the floors clean." Mid-stay, we received a phone call asking when our check-out day was and when they realized it was not that day, they inquired if we 'needed anything' in our room. When I inquired if they would be cleaning our room that day, I was met with fresh towels brought to our room, told to 'toss our dirty towels in the hall' and the room did not cleaned that day.||||We were incredibly excited to visit one of our favorite summer destinations, especially during such an unprecedented year, only to end up feeling the the most unwelcome and uncomfortable we’ve ever felt in our travels.||||Coming from a high-level hospitality environment that is my career, this could be a GEM of a place if the management team adopted some hospitality and exemplified kindness toward all and expected their employees do the same. We will not be back to the Inn but, as always, are excited to return to...

We stayed at The Inn on 4/20/18 and the room was wonderful. The bed was so comfortable, everything was clean and fresh. The view of the water from the community room was breathtaking, we were amazed how close Canada was. We got to see a ship pass as well as many fisherman in their boats. The security in the rooms was modern and very easy to use. We arrived after 9:00 PM, and the kitchen closes at 9:00 PM, but they told us they would be glad to make us a sandwich. The staff was friendly, both in The Inn side and restaurant side. The only thing we were disappointed in was the fact that they took our charge card in another room and copied our change card and wrote the 3 digit security code on the copy, as well as our drivers license. This alarmed us because usually a charge card chip is read or is swiped and no information is saved. We will watch our charge card daily for a while to make sure no charges are put on our card. We are hoping this is because The Inn is so new they are not set up for this yet. We also did not receive a copy of our room charge. We are going to give them the benefit of doubt because they have only been opened 2 weeks and working out these issues. We would recommend this place to friends and would...

We went in for the Wednesday date promo 2 meals , 2 drinks , 1 dessert to share $ 40.00. Having never been to this establishment before but heard good things we were excited to try it out . We decided to order an appetizer and try the brussel sprout chips , these were different but tasty. For our main course my wife ordered the steak , and I ordered the chicken piccata with angel hair pasta one of my favorite dishes. The steak was delicious, my wife also loved the potatoes that came with it , the piccata on the other hand not good. First of all when the waitress brought it out said they had changed the noodles to linguine and she didn't know it, the chicken was cut up in little squares ,and the sauce had no lemon , caper flavor, it just tasted like chicken broth. I had my wife taste it , and she also agreed it had no flavor. Explained it to the waitress asked if I could get something else instead, so I got the steak which was ok. When the waitress brought the steak to the table she said it must be a taste bud thing one of the other tables had the piccata and said it was delicious. All in all not a favorable experience for our first trip and probably...
