The eighteen foot long model of the Titanic was awesome! Fine Art Models, was commissioned by Harland & Wolff in 1995 to build the builder's model of RMS Titanic. Harland & Wolff is the same company that built the real RMS Titanic ship. There had never been a builder's model of Titanic built and therefore no one ever knew what the ship really looked like. Fine Art Models was given access to the original plans, drawings and every photograph of Titanic known to exist. It took over 7 years to build the model. We had the experience of a lifetime when we visited here last summer! I can't tell you how special the staff made me and my kids feel. Especially my little boy who is wholeheartedly OBSESSED with ANYTHING Titanic. We plan to come here every summer. It looks small, but is FULL of knowledge and amazing artifacts that not only educated you, but make you smile to learn about.thanks for the red carpet treatment! Attended Italian night tonight. Soooo disappointed and embarrassed. Invited friends to join us. Website said 6:30-7:30 drinks and appetizers. We arrived at 6:30 and were told the movie would begin at 6;45. Ridiculous, we only had 15 minutes for drinks and apps.
