Our Place GUESTHOUSE — Hotel in Martinsburg

Upon arrival the location had a bad smell walking in once settled I started to notice nothing was clean the bathroom was dirty with calcium build-up so was the carpet I was willing to over look the backwards floor plan but the website said queen size it was a full the ac unit was very dirty and because installed incorrectly bugs and bees were part of the experience as well both dead and alive i kept finding 2 nights out of the 3 I was planning on staying I spent killing bugs on the walls curtains and through out the space pretty much this place had not had anyone there for several months I can also speak on the outside windows are old and brittle overgrown bushes I paid to rent this place the least that could have been done is clean the suite before taking someone's money ended up cutting my trip short cause we left the suite...

Our Place and Mark are hidden gems in Martinsburg, PA. They deserve more than 5 stars. I stayed in the very wonderfully quirky 50's apartment. Feels like being back at grandma's house. There is so much to see in the area with Our Place near all. Cozy, homey and Mark is a treasure. Very excited to be back soon. It is a year later and Our Place is even better than before. I spent a few days in the 70's suite and loved that one too. Both apartments have a uniqueness that make them stand out from other guest houses. So happy and content being back. I was delighted to stay in the Retro suite! It was authentic. The light fixtures were awesome. Great original wallpaper. Record player on the wall. Built in radio and intercom system. Huge kitchen with wonderful, old appliances. 1967 linen tea towel calendar! Bathroom had original cabinets. Brass fixtures had patina! Totally, a wonderful experience. Very clean and comfortable. We had more than enough room. Can accommodate 8 people. Games provided. Kitchen utensils and dishes provided. Again, very clean. Host is all about comfort and accommodating the guests!
