The Bistro At The Village Green — Restaurant in North Woodbury Township

Excellent food, excellent staff, excellent atmosphere! While their menu isn't big, The Bistro makes up for it in quality (and price I might add). There may not be a steak meal on the dinner menu, but the Turkey Dinner and Roasted Red Pepper Fettuccine can certainly give any steak meal it's run for the money! The portions are generous and the food is very good. The chef even checked up on us to see how our meals were (that usually only happens at super fancy restaurants).

Dessert was excellent too! My wife and I both had the mint chocolate cake. YUM! The staff is friendly and helpful and the restaurant is very nice, tidy, and quiet. The music can get a bit loud at times, but my guess is you could tell them to turn it down a bit if it really bothered you.

The price for 2 dinners, 2 desserts and 2 hot beverages was $50 (that includes tip). I thought that was very reasonable for a restaurant like this. If you're looking for a good date, or group dinner place in The Cove, go to The Bistro! You won't be disappointed. It's BYOB so you'll need to bring a bottle of your favorite wine if you fancy an alcoholic beverage...

My experience with the food was that it honestly is just ok. It was buffet style and honestly I'm not sure how it's regularly run so that may be why? But the chicken dish was OBVIOUSLY frozen and then just heated, it tasted like a chicken patty. Nothing tasted bad, but it wasn't great and I really feel no need to go back. I was at the Bistro for breakfast with women from church on a Saturday morning. I think we were the only ones there, but I have no idea why. It was wonderful! The staff were very professional and friendly, and we were treated very well. The food was great, and the table was set beautifully! My biggest surprise was the bill.
