I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Kutztown, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in several ways. The hotel is spotlessly clean, which immediately sets a positive tone for the stay. The beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep, and the hot showers are a delightful way to unwind after a long day of exploring.
The staff at this hotel truly stand out. From the front desk to management, cleaning staff, and breakfast service, everyone is attentive and professional, making you feel welcomed and valued throughout your stay. Speaking of breakfast, I particularly enjoyed the complimentary offerings, especially the waffle bar—a delightful treat to start the day!
The hotel features additional amenities like an indoor pool, which is perfect for families, and laundry facilities for those on longer trips. The location is a significant advantage as well, being less than a mile from Kutztown University and just a few miles from local wineries. I highly recommend checking out Ozgoods Neighborhood Grill & Bar, just a short drive away; it’s truly a hidden gem!
Overall, my experience at Hampton Inn & Suites Kutztown was fantastic, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area for business or leisure. It’s a great blend of comfort, convenience, and...
Read moreThe staff, from the moment we walked in, was very cheerful and seemed genuinely happy to greet me. I was there to celebrate my daughter's birthday with a few of her friends. They honored an early check in and a late check out. The pool was small, but we were happy it was open. (Due to covid only 12 people in the pool area at a time, which honestly, is PLENTY of people in there without covid restrictions). The beds were comfortable. The TV in one of our adjoining rooms did not have picture at first, but after a call to the front desk, it was determined to be a loose plug. There is ZERO sound proofing between rooms. My daughter and her friends were talking at a normal volume into the wee hours of the morning and when my fan wasn't running, I could hear just about every word. Breakfast was order window style, so less selection than usual I'm sure, but still good, and warm. I missed the apple juice but the wild berry pomegranate smoothie was DELICIOUS! I felt bad for the front desk girl who was helping dish out waffles AND refilling the "order only" coffee station (at the opposite end of the room) AND manning the front desk, but she maintained her positivity. Our stay was memorable and I would recommend this hotel for anyone coming...
Read moreWe were on a planned trip, going to several destinations we had wanted to visit, ending up in Canada for our final stop. One day into our trip, our car gave us a service code and we pulled off the interstate and found ourselves in Kutztown, PA. After being lucky enough to find a mechanic who could perform the service (replacing the turbo in our car), we were stranded there for 10 days, waiting for the part to arrive and the work to be performed. This hotel was the only one in Kutztown, and the university there was just a couple of days away from graduation when we arrived. We were cared for so incredibly well by the hotel staff, in particular one of the management team named Ivy. She went out of her way to make sure we had a room at a time when the rest of the hotel was busy and booked. Without her care and help, we would have not had anywhere to stay (Kutztown is very small). During a very disappointing and stressful time, we were treated with great care by everyone we interacted with at the hotel. If you ever find yourself in Kutztown (and I highly recommend you go there, it is a wonderful place), I can recommend this Hampton Inn...
