Airport Diner — Restaurant in Maxatawny Township

First time here was in town n it got good reviews so decided to stop got seated right away the waitress came over after about five minutes she asked me what I wanted I didn't know just told her I would like a water with lemon she gave that to me told me to put the menu on the edge of the table so thats what I did waited another five minutes she drops her stuff on the table and ask me what I wanted I told her the he man special because it comes with a lot of food and I was hungry it comes with three eggs toast coffee juice french toast or pancakes and a choice of meat I ask her what juice comes with it she said whatever kind u like I ask her what kind she told me I pick oj got that but didnt get the coffee the food came out about ten minutes later i adk her if i could get coffee she brought it out full to the top no room for cream or sugar it was water down burnt coffee the the eggs were over cooked the hash browns were super over cook the scrapple i got was so over cooked it was burnt the oj wasnt nothing to brag about the french toast was the only thing that was good she came over about three minutes later to ask me if I got everything I said yea because I just started to eat didn't see her after that about ten minutes later she had a table in front of me and then came to my table not to ask me how everything was but to fill the sugar that didn't even need to be filled I ask her if I could get hit coffee she said it wasn't hot no I said it was watered down and burnt she said I don't think it was watered down brought me a new full cup ask her if she could dump some out she poured it out on my plate that she was taking away didn't see her after that finished my meal and went to pay she comes from the kitchen to bring me my check because she didn't come to see me anymore after the one time right before I started to eat my take I don't get how this place got good reviews but I wouldn't come back for the lack of service and the not so good food but maybe...

Turkey with stuffed mashed potatoes. Ugh!! The Turkey was sliced deli meat and the stuffing potatoes is just mashed potatoes with celery in it. I can handle Turkey deli meat but get it cut thick and pay for a Turkey breast meat rather than a compressed cheap brand that tasted awful. And get rid of the potatoes with celery in it, celery is too watery and just tasted nasty. Make a stuffing ball. Potatoes are a side when you have limited other vegetable sides. Was reheated sliced Meatloaf, rougher than leather. Leave the meatloaf whole, when get an order slice then fry it on butter and reserved premade mirepoix (or holy trinity as some call it) and a little Italian seasoning if you like. It will give it a yummy taste and outer crisp. The seafood bisque has a good flavor but should never be served luke warm and never reheated in a microwave. Just some suggestions. Waitress gave menial service at best. Asked her for recommendation of what to order, she had no preference and made us ask for multiple drink choices not offering a list of what was available till finally had to say “ well then what do you have? Then the Sprite that was ordered was sweetened seltzer water. The waitress didn’t even apologize, just said tasted fine to her. Huh! Trust me your customers know what Sprite should taste like. And the lack of bubbles in the glass should be proof enough. The only smile she gave was when delivering the bill. Would have spent more money and gotten dessert but was so disappointed in food and several lives already that killed...

Went with some friends late night/early morning... place was empty with 2 servers on and am older gentlemen seating and cashing out guest. We got our food pretty fast but then never saw our server again. She never once came to check if the food was ok or if we needed refills. We just sat there staring while the other server started to take on a couple tables and kept asking out loud where the other one was that she had been "doing this all night"...When she finally reappeared she got loud and defensive as to where she'd been, and continued to stay loud ...!There was a lot of tension and awkwardness in the diner (which was now starting to get a littler rush) We thought our server would finally come to us first, but didn't. I finally had to wave down the older man and ask him for our check so we could leave. When he asked our waitress to bring us our check she replied "ya... when I get to it" The man ended up bringing our check over. I've never ever not tipped a server before but that night I didn't leave a dime. I left very, very angry, and as long as that specific waitresses works there, I...
