I stayed 3/18/2025 in room 34.

This hotel/motel is stuck in the 80's with the look and style throughout the entire place. The room keys are actual metal house keys on a plastic placard with your room number painted on it. This is a very low tech place. The hotel is one level and has a straight hallway. The hallway is tight and look like a halfway house or college dormitory. In the room, there was only a couple of outlets that we could find, that was so loose that your phone charger will not stay in the wall. So our cell phones didn't charge overnight. There are almost no outlets to use for yourself thats not already being used by something else. The phone in the room didnt work. The a/c unit is on the wall had a broken control pad and didn't work. But I spent 15 minutes unplugging and replacing the cord in the outlet while pressing the on button. When it came on, it wouldnt cut off when the room was too cold. The controls for the heat was on a completely different wall. The fridge was unplugged so we had to plug it in and wait before we could put our cold food into it. The shower didnt work. The water came out the top and the bottom at the same time. (See the video). The hot water came out of the sink white and cloudy. I dont know why it did that and it was worrisome. (See the video). The plumbing needs to be fixed. The WiFi worked great. The bed was ok and the pillows were just flat and could be better. They had an actual sofa in the room blocking the adjoining room door. It was soft and comfortable. The breakfast is just your basic cereal, toast, coffee, waffle maker, and juice. It didn't seem appetizing. There is a Taco Bell/ KFC combo restaurant within walking distance from the hotel. Maybe about...

I saw on the Google link that there was a pool and gym at this location so I decided to book 2 nights there. This was the military dine-in for my national guard unit as well, so I had my at the time girlfriend with me. This weekend was supposed to be special because I planned on proposing to her. I know mistakes can be made with posting information about hotels online but the person in charge was not polite at all with our service. They refused to refund me at first and were rude about it. Then after i was complaining to please give me my money back, they still charged my credit card a fee, just because I planned on using a credit card to pay for the room (they said it was a "credit card fee"). Not willing to accommodate even after we were trying (and were at the very beginning) to be polite and understanding. Their service and attitude had upset my girlfriend to the point that the weekend could have gone badly. Luckily, Rodeway Inn was very polite and helpful. We went and stayed with them, they were honest in their services provided at the hotel, and our weekend got much better. They even helped me with plans to propose to my now fiancé. Woodlands is an awful company and we would not recommend it. If you can, try to stay...

Everything was awesome the staff especially the young man that cleans the rooms. He was a real joy very FRIENDLY, FUNNY, AND CHILL. Plus we left something in the room that we wouldn't have noticed it was gone u til we were way gone. He ran out and gave it to us. That never happens. It's wheelchair friendly, washer and dryer on sight $1.75 to wash and another $1.75 to dry. Now for the bad part well if you have a dog. We were put in a I guess a no e dog friendly room gosh I was impressed for a second until he seen the dog and moved us to the dog room. Now the dog room comes with everything stained and no coffee pot. Hardwood floors I didn't mind those. I have noticed almost all hotels do have some type of pet policy but to feel like your less then are gross for having your pet is pretty rude . On top of that it was $30 a day for a dog that you can hide in a small hand bag. $30 a day come on that's almost as much as the room. So if you can fit your dog in a bag do it because it gets expensive...just kidding the location is great I thought you have Walmart right down the road places to eat right around them but for the KFC/Taco bell pass it up. Thats a whole...

As one of the other posts states, you get what you pay for. Well, maybe even less. I reserved online Sunday morning and received confirmation that my dog was $20 extra as it stated on the web. Upon arrival that evening, I was told it was $30. I was too tired to argue and assumed it would have been fixed. Bill came the next day with extra $10. I sent an email with my confirmation and 3 weeks later still no response or refund. On top of that, the rooms are very 1970’s still. At least everything was not green. The toilet was too small. The lock on the door was a regular metal key, not a deadbolt, regular lock that I confirmed I could bypass within seconds. The blinds were so see thru I did not feel comfortable even walking around my room in my underwear. Lastly, the tv was small, not that I spent much time watching it, but the TV in the main office looked to be about 100+inches. Maybe some of that cost could go toward some hotel and guest improvements.

Worse night ever at a hotel. Inexpensive but a low-quality facility. The walls are not very solid or soundproof. One room next to us had music so loud we couldn't hear our TV. The manager took care of that. The room on the other side must have stayed awake all night, at least their laughter kept me awake. The wall that our headboard was attached to kept moving with the laughter and noise. See photos > cracked sink. Broken toilet seat supports. Cheap, frayed bath towels, and mauve chairs from the 80's, a dumb TV, microwave stacked on top of fridge stacked on top of the dresser??? No electronic door locks, old-fashioned keys. An inexpensive mattress and small hard pillows. Not pictured - the breakfast bar is skimpy, make your own waffles, a couple of fruit, no protein. The person that checked me in had unkempt hair, and the same t-shirt and joggers the next morning when we checked out. I gave it an extra star because the facility is clean.
