If I were to be hunting around the Meeteetse area then the Oasis would be a perfect place. However, if you expect in anyway that this is anywhere close to a normal hotel then you would be wrong. The towels were not quality as previously stated (they didn't even match). The TV remote was dead and we could never get it to work even after placing new batteries. |First, if the RV Park Cottage area is full they send you down the road to a converted apartment complex with a key. The rooms have plenty of space for two but the bedding was ridiculous. |The first night was ok but we had drove 20+ hours so we could have been thrilled with a rock. The rest of the stay consisted of a Buffalo and her little heard stomping around for hours up stairs. Which u can hear like they are in the same room. |On the up side the staff was very polite and they all seemed like nice small town people. The local Bar is obviously a hot spot.|If you are looking for a desperate place and can't drive 35 miles more to Cody Wy. Then maybe this is the place for...
Read moreWe stayed in a very comfortable cabin right on the Greybull River. The cabin was extremely clean, had a small, full kitchen complete with stove, refridgerator and microwave. There was a separate bedroom with a full and a single bed as well as an additional single bed in the living room. The living area had a flat screen TV and wireless internet was available. There was a picnic table outside our door and pleanty of space to relax and play outdoors. We hardly noticed people in the neighboring cabins and had a quiet, pleasant experience. The manager was wonderful and check in and check out were good expereinces. We were in the area for a family reunion and some other family members stayed in the Oasis' RV spots and motel. Evereyone seemed pleased with their...
Read moreI travel frequently and am typically the planner at home and at my business. I called this location twice to get clarification on their various motel rooms, cabins, and RV sites to plan for three couples, and once to book our reservation. Their cabin layouts are completely different and their website is down, or doesn't have this information, so I had several questions. The gal I spoke with twice was incredibly rude; I had her on speaker and my husband said he couldn't believe how she spoke to me and how I managed to keep my cool. There was a very nice man named Danny, so if you book I would directly ask for him! I ended up booking for all of us down the street because we didn't want to risk having to deal with her at check in. Enjoy our beautiful state if you come and know that most people from here take pride in being...
