I stayed at the Stadium Hotel from September 1 to September 6, 2023. I am a native Floridian, and traveled home to attend my cousin's funeral services. When I stayed there before, there were no issues, however on those dates, there were. At approximately 11:00 p.m. on September 4, I informed the front desk that due to illness, I would need to check out on September 6, rather than September 5. Okay, he said, and he would note it down. On September 5, I told the front morning attendant that I would extend and would be down stairs to make a payment based on the conversation with the evening attendant. Around 10:50 a.m., he called and I told him I was getting dressed and would be down soon. There was a knock at my door around 11:15 a.m. It was a woman employee named Ms. Regis, I'm not sure if I spelled it right. Upon asking if I was checking out, I told her I called the front desk and informed the male that I had extended my stay and would be down shortly. The woman was very kind and made a note of it. Around 11:30 a.m., someone knocked on my door, despite the "do not disturb" sign on the door. She walked in after about half a second. I said hello, I'm getting dressed. I pulled my dress up as fast as I could. The employee's name is Ms. Jacqueline. Basically, I told her that you shouldn't walk into a person's room and that the sign is on the door. It made me feel violated! Furthermore, I said Ms. Regis was just in the room did she not inform you that I was extending my stay? Still feeling unwell, I became agitated at this point. When the sign is displayed on the door, no one should enter that room. In an emergency, I understand. If they do, knock and then wait for a while, don't just walk right in! When I went down stairs, I explained what happened to the front desk staff and asked to speak with a manager. The manager, Ms. Victoria, introduced herself. She was informed of the incident by me. Ms. Victoria said that when someone requests an extension, they must make a payment. Her communication was understandable, but I don't think she followed mine. In spite of making several calls to confirm that I would come downstairs to pay for another day, two people showed up at the room. The act of walking into someone's room when they are dressing is not professional! She said extensions cannot be granted until payment has been made, and sometimes people leave without paying. As I mentioned previously, I understood what she meant, and I informed the male employeeI would be down stairs to make the payment. Having stayed at the premises before, I am familiar with the rules. However, for an employee to walk into my room while I was getting dressed is unprofessional. When I asked Ms. Victoria if I could speak to the owner of the hotel, her supervisor, she said she is the owner. Again, I informed her that I understood and respected the hotel's policies. Further, as a retired US Army soldier who has traveled the world, I have never experienced an incident where a hotel employee ignored the do not disturb sign and entered my room. After paying for another day, I informed her that I would write a review. Although the hotel is a great place to stay, it is an infringement of privacy when someone...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy stay was okay. The Representive at front desk when i checked in was a nice Guy and professionally helpful, but the Toliet when you flush it made a loud sound plus i just basically tried to overlook that small issue. The housekeeper was neat and pleasant. No room service for food each time i had to go out and get something to eat and im partially disabled that was an inconvience but because the room was ok i dealt with it. Checking out the Hotel was my worst Experience i showed my State and Federal Government ID and it wasn't enough for the younglady at the front desk so i asked why she was very rude to me when she explained and i was pretty much aggravated so i went and set down in the lobby to get my Driver license Which is Another Government ID a total stranger in the hotel saw that i was Disabled and how rude the younglady was to me and quoted to me ask for a manager and i told them angry as i am i just need to leave this establishment after all the small things i overlooked and will call back to speak to who is in charge and write a Blog What im Doing Now so people can hear and picture your full service of your stay because i was furious with the disrespect and exceptions i made for the Staduim Hotel by Calder Race Track Address 21485 N.W. 27th Avenue Miami Gardens, Florida 33056. I have stayed here many times in the pass for relaxation never had poor Service like this ever i thought after so many years they would have upgraded by now. Still No Food Service and now a Rude Rep to check you out unbelievable helped me out then presented the Other goverment ID FROM THE STATE and she gave me my Refund this company needs to Evaluate Employees very well because all it takes is 1 individual to mess up your company reputation. I visited the Stadium Hotel from Saturday June 7th to Tuesday June 10th 2025, and it was one of the BEST EXPERIENCES that I had while visiting Miami Florida!
The hotel itself, upon entering, was immaculately clean and I also loved the decor in the hotel. I was also pleased that the hotel had a restaurant at the front entrance which was incredibly inviting and the food looked good!
Upon entering our room, I was very pleased with the attention to detail and cleanliness of the walls, floors, appliances, beds, bathroom area, and the balcony that overlooked the pool area outside. Moreover, I couldn't help but take out my phone and start taking pictures before we made ourselves too comfortable up the room lol.
The amenities in the hotel were 5 star level, and the staff treated us very well...the SERVICE was definitely top notch! Also, the staff made sure that we had everything that we needed and they even went out of their way to provide more towels in the pool area when they ran out after we notified them.
This hotel is staffed with Security that patrols the inside and outside with much dedication while also treating the guests with respect, and a friendly smile.
Breakfast at this hotel was absolutely AMAZING, and there was a Buffet style presentation that immediately caught my eye because the food was fresh and staff presented it on a professional level. As we entered the floor where breakfast was served, staff were there to greet us and assist us as much as they could.
The Pool area, Garden area, and Mini-golf area was absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed the pool's temperature at 70 degrees, and the recliner chairs surrounding the pool were nice as well as clean because we were able to relax after a nice swim. I couldn't help but snap a few pictures of the garden area and pool area.
š I ENJOYED MY STAY SO MUCH THAT I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE, and I was actually saddened that I had to leave due to the fact that I had to take a flight āļø back up NORTH to my home in another state.
šš½šš½šš½ I give this hotel a hand clap and a standing ovation!
