Absolutely stunning layout of the Elk Creek Room. Very well decorated. Rooms are a bit tiny if you like lots of room, but so beautiful. The beds were a comfortable sleep on a firm mattress. If you’re used to the city night sounds then this will be a perfect site. If you need quiet naps, expect a bit of noise sleeping as the rooms are directly on Main Street. As a guest of the lodge, you get a $5.00 discount from the delicious pastry and coffee selections in the delightful coffee shop down below. Plus, there are other great restaurants nearby. A/C and WiFi available, our WiFi wouldn’t work first night. Access to the lodge is easy at daytimes but for evenings after 7:00 pm, entry setup is a bit tricky but was very organized. The host was very cordial.
The rooms are in a historic building, and the decor in the rooms, and coffee shops - stunning! It’s a lovely setting, quite romantic, with a patio available for evening lounging.
All in all, a wonderful little nook...

We liked it well enough to book for the fall. We shared the two room suite with another couple for the football weekend. Perfect to fix food in the kitchenette to take to our tailgate. We preferred not to be in the loud party atmosphere in State College. We did coffee and a sweet roll downstairs in the coffee shop both mornings. I am an innkeeper in another Big Ten city and don't really require lots of service or attention. We had no problem getting the key and letting ourselves in. Compared to rates in State College, this was a great value. Good brew pub and restaurant on the next corner too. We plan to go back when our team plays...
Read moreTriple Creek Lodge is awesome! Nestled in cute downtown Milheim, PA mins away from Camp Woodward. The owner of the lodge is responsive. The Penn's Creek Room was super unique! The loft bed was comfortable, the room was spotless, bathroom modern and unique with a pull chain toliet and linens and tolietries provided. DVDs were provided, which made for a cozy evening. We awoke overlooking the Meandering Mallard Coffee Shop and enjoyed a delicious, homemade breakfast with many options - tons of smoothies and bfast sandwiches choices served with a smile in a unique setting with a fireplace, firepit, games and books. Definitely recommend Triple...
