The Meandering Mallard Coffee House — Restaurant in Millheim

The Meandering Mallard is amazing! There’s just an amazing atmosphere, with plenty of seating, ranging from tables to couches. The decor was perfectly rustic and I loved all the wood and wildlife mounts! They had a good menu, although it seemed to differ a bit from what I had found online beforehand. I enjoyed a hot latte, while others in my family enjoyed hot chocolate, chai, and iced lattes. They had a wide variety of breakfast food, as well as panini’s if you are hungry for lunch. I enjoyed an everything bagel, while another family member enjoyed their delicious baked oatmeal. They had about five syrups to choose from, and one holiday flavor. It was ok. The food was good, could have had more flavor. And I'm sorry but the plastic plate really took away from an experience. The atmosphere was weird though. I sat on 3 different seats and felt like my average frame was going to break all of them. The "comfy" chairs and couch, are not comfy. Well, one might have been, but I didn't try it, because who wants to sit right in front of the bathroom door. 10/10 recommend this quaint little coffee shop. Stopped in while passing by and we will return. My husband and I both got an oat milk latte. They were perfect! He got a breakfast bagel and I got quiche. Food was outstanding!!!! There were free samples of fresh baked cookies and juice. Staff was more than exceptional. My quiche took a little longer than they expected so they offered me a free refill on my latte. I did not mind waiting one bit. The shop is so cozy and inviting. If ever in Millheim I highly recommend...
