I regret to inform you that my experience with the hotel's reservation department has been less than satisfactory. Despite being invited to a wedding that will be held at the hotel, I encountered several issues when attempting to book a discounted room. The initial deadline for securing the discounted rate was May 23, 2024, which I adhered to. However, the rate was subsequently removed without prior notice or a clear explanation. Furthermore, the service I received was impolite and unprofessional. I was transferred to voicemail without being informed of the action, and my message left for the sales department went unanswered. While I am able to pay the new rate, I find it unacceptable to have to plead with the hotel to accept my business. Additionally, the reviews of the hotel's rooms are concerning and do not justify the increased cost. I received a better rate thanks to my VIP status elsewhere.  I'll be back here after the experience.  Toodles

Catering Concerns at Recent Wedding

The recent wedding ceremony and reception were aesthetically pleasing. However, the catering services provided fell short of expectations. The steak, a primary entrée, was overcooked, resulting in a tough and unappetizing texture. The potato wedges, another staple dish, were also overcooked, lacking in flavor, and served cold. It is difficult to comprehend how a simple dish like potato wedges could be mishandled to such an extent. The string beans, a side vegetable, were equally bland and lacked any distinguishing taste.

The wait staff appeared to be aware of the overcooked steak, as they made lighthearted remarks while clearing our plates, which still contained uneaten portions. One guest in our vicinity even returned her chicken entrée due to its unacceptable quality. We could have forewarned her about the subpar steak, but she unfortunately had to discover this for herself. Considering the overall catering experience, it would be reasonable for the wedding party to seek a partial refund for the catering services.

In comparison, my family possesses the capability to provide superior catering services. My sister and I successfully catered my own wedding, while my in-laws graciously served the food. Our efforts resulted in minimal leftovers, and we received numerous compliments from our guests both during the event and in subsequent discussions about the wedding.

I understand the perspective of the reservations department, as I personally avoid staying in that area when visiting my hometown. The Brookfield Wauwatosa area offers a more welcoming and courteous experience. I wish you the best in improving your business practices. If you were truly concerned about my experience, proactive measures should have been taken from the outset, rather than addressing the issue after the disrespectful treatment I received from the reservations clerk and the lack of a return call from "sales," if that is indeed who I was transferred to, as I only heard a dial tone before being able to speak. I suggest investing in better hiring practices to ensure a higher level of professionalism and customer service. Thank you for your lack of attention to...

I will like to express a few concerns about our stay. On the last day of our stay we found that our bedding had blood stains and other stains (I have pictures) visibly at the foot of our bed which is a true indication that the linens wasn't clean. My other concerns regarding our stay are as follows: -Carpet is sticky when walking on it, Must where shoes -the swimming pool didn't have water at all and we were not informed in advance -Ice machine was out of order -no smart tv in the rooms -found partially drinking water bottle on the floor when we first enter the room -we requested our rooms to be turn down for daily cleaning at front desk. Front desk and housekeeping assured it will get done and it wasn't never done while there -no usb outlets at all in our room -request room change because the first room toilet wasn't working properly and standing water in the tub -stains on the bathtub floor -Furniture dated ( I have pictures ) Finally, by being a diamond Hilton Honor member I asked at check in about the free breakfast that was promised during the call when I made the reservations. I was told by the lady who checked us in that we dont get free breakfast at their location. Found that to be weird after we were promised when making the reservations. On our last morning there, my father called front desk about the free breakfast and a different lady told him that we do get free breakfast at the onsite restaurant. I followed up with front desk and was told since I'm a Diamond Hilton Honor member, I get up to $20 per head for two per room for breakfast. I was rather bothered by this news. We could have chosen a different hotel, but we chose this one because I'm a Hilton Honors member and Hilton has a great reputation. Needless to say, I was really disappointed about this location. In my opinion, this location doesn't meet the Hilton standards based on previous experiences with...

My husband and I stayed here for one night and I specifically picked this hotel bc the reviews were decent and I was willing to pay a little extra if it meant a nicer room. We had the basic room with a King bed.

PROS: The room was clean, the hotel staff were very nice and helpful, it was close to the highway and where we needed to be the next day, lots of clean towels in the bathroom - did not need to ask for extras, mini fridge, microwave and Keurig in the room, no bugs. There is a restaurant right there and room service offered.

CONS: The bed was AWFUL. Like horribly uncomfortable and the pillows were terrible too. The bed was very firm and had no pillow top/memory foam/cushion at all, which is generally not a problem for me. But mixed with the flat as a pancake pillow it was awful. There were 4 pillows on the bed total, 2 each side, and none were very good. They just flattened into nothing with little pressure. My husband and I tossed and turned literally all night long from being uncomfortable. My husband felt his pillows had a weird smell and we both felt the room as a whole had a strange smell. I think it was probably whatever they used to clean bc it didn't smell unclean, but I almost thought there was an air freshener somewhere (I'm allergic) though I didn't find one. So again, I think it's what they use to turn the room.

The bathroom sink is set very far back on the counter which is difficult for a short person like me but not the worst thing. The bathroom floor seemed a little sticky but so was the lobby so I think again, it's the cleaning solution they used. Overall, we did not feel as comfortable as we hoped for what we paid, as we've paid the same and stayed at other hotels that were nicer with a better bed. They do have more luxury rooms so maybe...

July 15th-17th, 2025 Was here for a work training and as soon as I walked into the room I was disappointed. Staying in Hilton often this did not compare on any level and I told myself that it would be fine, it wasn’t that big of a deal. I had a bad feeling about the cleanliness, but took upon myself to clean the bathroom when I arrived. I was a little annoyed with the comforter and pillow cases having some stains, but again convincing myself that it was washed they just couldn’t help it. Well I finally broke when I seen a bug crawling on the bed, I never had bed bugs, never experienced them, I was shocked. I looked it up instantly on Google and it said that it was a Clover Mite. Okay, I am still questioning everything, being really hesitant. I start reading my book to distract myself, I see a different type of bug out the corner of my eye. I am like “No way”. I then begin looking for them at this point because there’s literally no way this is happening. I’m frustrated we are stuck in the middle of nowhere it feels and I’m already here an extra day than what I needed to be. I find another inside a pillow case, I “killed” it to see if I’m being dramatic or is this what I’m seeing from my Google search. I instantly got my stuff and headed down to the lobby, I couldn’t do it. There was no way I was staying in that room another minute. I went to the front desk and asked to check out, the lady offered another room, but I couldn’t do it knowing the same thing could be in the next room. I currently am sitting in the lobby of the hotel until I can leave for my flight in the morning. I’m disgusted and this has ruined my entire MKE experience.

Positives: Friendly staff, trying their best Negatives: Facility is dated and in poor condition for the rate. For the money, we’d expect much better conditions. So we recommend another hotel if you’re paying $150+ FULL STORY We are longtime Hilton Honors members. Traveling with 3 little boys. We were confirmed two connected rooms. When we arrived they had no connected rooms. Now during our stay, the youngest will have alto share our bed. Sleepless nights make for miserable vacations. Add to this: - pool is closed for maintenance - no in-room safes (and there was a lady reporting theft of her purse when we arrived) - no menus in room for the on site restaurant - frayed carpeting - rocking toilet (as in broken mount at floor, not as in cool, Grandma’s chair, or even just a loose seat) - shower “stickers” to explain operation (that are backwards) - no “privacy please” sign in one room - outlets on desks were attached with adhesives that have long since faded - more minor issues I’m sure you can imagine how unhappy the kids are and what that means for our visit to Milwaukee. They comped us one night’s stay for one of our rooms. Unfortunately, that does not fix how unhappy our kids are and the impact on our stay. We know everyone is short staffed right now, but that doesn’t justify the rate and lack of communication.
