I little concerning on the location. I pulled up to a hotel with a remote camera tower with flashing blue lights... Check in was good and relatively quick. I was offered a few room options due to status. Room was spacious and well appointed.. But very worn and tired room. The bath was beat down, and almost looked like some type of renovation took place, but with the same things that came out. The counter was not chalked, the wall not pointed. The tub didn't drain, the baseboard missing in a spot, corners and doors damaged. And about a one plus inch gap under the door... One night I was woke by a horrible smell... wet rag over tub drain reduced it so I could fall back asleep. Breakfast was horrible. First morning - no milk, yogurt or pancakes and the moldy orange beside the one apple was a let down. Following 3 morning no still no yogurt, or pancakes (but there was better fruit and some milk). Never bacon or omelets... I dont normally complain about breakfast offerings, but not much offered. My images don't show the wear or smell but for the hotel staff, room 430 needs attention.

Water leaked from the ceiling directly onto the bed. The pull-out couch had stains and a used tissue left behind, the shower was dirty, the bedroom door wouldn’t close, and the lights dimmed unexpectedly. I called the front desk to report the leak, and he said he’d have someone check it, but nothing happened. When I went downstairs for an update, the staff appeared to be asleep. He eventually came upstairs after I asked for fresh comforters and sheets. He admitted he didn’t know where maintenance was or when they’d be back. When he saw the leak, he asked, “Where y’all gonna sleep?” I said I didn’t know. He then suggested I try the pull-out couch — which I was willing to do, but it turned out to be just as unsanitary. With no other rooms available, we ended up sleeping on the floor. I made every effort to resolve this during my stay, but nothing was properly handled. The front desk originally promised a full refund but later reduced it to $60. This falls far short of basic standards of cleanliness, safety, and service. I cannot recommend this property to anyone.

Would I come back: No. This property is under a remodel. But, unlike other properties which work on 1 floor at a time; they elected to hopscotch all over the hotel with their work. The sound of construction was apparent, regardless of whatever room you are in. My room had been remodeled and, I guess, then turned back to service without inspecting it. The shower had hand prints of the construction caulk used for the shower surround installation. Note: the neighborhood starts to turn not-so-nice about 5 miles east of here. Edit: By pure mistake on my part, I booked in here again. I still can not recommend. Although the property said the construction would be complete by December, it is now March and renovations are still ongoing. Again, I stayed in a remodeled room, apparently not inspected (adding photos here): painted-over electrical outlets; the painters tape was never removed from the bottom of the door; and perhaps the worst mistake: the new shower did not have a threshold to retain the water, so the water drained all over the bathroom floor.

We saw a lot of bad reviews after we booked this place. We were hesitant to stay there but we had to. So we walk in and there’s a huge line because they had no clean rooms. When it’s finally our turn to get our room the same problem. After about 20-30 minutes we finally got our room. We go up to it and look around because of the reviews we saw we were a bit worried. We found hair in the tub but yk whatever right? Then we found a little spider on our bed. It wasnt movie so me and my step sister (who were sharing the bed where the spider was) weren’t as freaked out. But then it moved. We ended up screaming and my step-sis ended up sleeping on the pullout couch. So anyways. Me and her go exploring around the hotel and 1 the laundry room is closed (the next day coming up we would need it). Also our room keys didn’t work on the pool and workout room because it was closed. But they still let people in the pool. After a lot of people asking them to open the door for them they ended up just putting a towel there and keeping it open. Anyways then our remote is working on and off. Like it would work sometimes but not all the time. So my stepdad ended up calling down there and asked if they had any spare batteries and they said they would bring it up in a few minutes. Like 30-1 hour pass by and I just go down and tell them we need them. She acted like we never even called down. I get she was having a baby shower with her fam while working but she could’ve at least told her coworker that was working as well. Also the elevator was being all weird. Like the door would open a little bit and close. Then the buttons weren’t working and more. So we switched to the other elevator and it was shaking. Also I saw a lot of people saying the breakfast was disgusting. Idk ab them but the breakfast was probably one of only good things ab this place. But still some complaints. The biscuit was hard and dry. It was as hard as a rock. The eggs looked weird so we didn’t eat them. The sausages were fine and delicious like the ones my mom buys from the store. Also the pancakes we’re actually really good. Me and my step-sister went back for seconds. But when we tried to get apple juice it was just water with a tiny of apple flavoring. But the orange juice was good 👍🏽. So the pancakes were the only good thing. O and also the cereal was good. Also Ik I’ve just been saying the bad things but the people were nice and the hotel room could’ve been much worse. Also the girl had a family event going on at the hotel and had to work at the same time so she must’ve been stressed and she was still helpful. But the snacks and drinks need an upgrade. Nothing like the pictures they show. But yeah nice hotel 👍🏽. Also if u got this far ty for reading this...

Me and my daughter came here for 2 nights from July7- July 9. I’ll make this as short as possible. The first room they gave us, which was a “Queen Bedroom,” had a few problems. (1)We went to turn on the tv and it wouldn’t work. That’s a problem there lol. (2)Anyways, my daughter went to the bathroom and the toilet ended up being broken. The handle on it would turn all the way around in a circle. (3)They didn’t have a safe in this room for important items. I called the front desk and they ended up giving us a different room. So we carried all our stuff to another room. We get to the room and make sure everything works. (1)Seems ok until we tried to make coffee. It wouldn’t work. (2)I went to call the front desk and the phone didn’t have a cord plugged into it. I had to pull out the table to try and find it and then plugged it back into the phone. (3)I call and the guy tells me he’s all by himself and it’s gonna be a while before anyone can help us. Someone finally came an hour later. (4)Also, it had an ironing board without a cloth cover on it. It was all just metal. What if we needed to iron? We would have to call again! (5)While relaxing on the 2nd day we start hearing yelling from the room next door to us. It was one of the managers, I think that’s who he was, I could tell because this guy had an accent and I recognized his voice. It was so loud! Who was he arguing and yelling at like that? A guest? We didn’t really hear any yelling back so that was kind of weird. It was quite irritating though having to hear that for over an hour. The swimming pool was warm. It was pretty nice except for some trash floating in it. They even have a separate kiddie pool in there. The water in there was freezing! Why? Poor kids! Seems like later on at night it gets packed in the pool area. You might want to go early in the day. All together the hotel was alright. Besides the problems. When we checked out the lady says to us, “Oh I remember your room you guys called about the coffee maker and some other stuff.” Really? Way to make us feel uncomfortable. Shouldn’t be saying that to the guests. I’m not trying to act all snobby about this. I mean we paid $400 for two nights and a $150 damage deposit that we get back within 2 weeks. My 15 year old daughter paid for all of it so she could take me on a little vacation. She worked her butt off for that money! Plus when you are at a hotel they are paid to cater to your needs with no complaints. I would not return to this hotel. I’m not a picky person and I’m very fair when it comes to...

This was the WORST Holiday Inn property I have ever stayed in!!!

From the moment we checked in and went to our room, the hotel did not live up to the usual standards I have come to expect when traveling. Here is what we experienced: The lobby was dirty and not well kept. There was a sign in the lobby indicating that the hotel was undergoing renovation and only one elevator was to be used by the guests. The guest elevator was dirty with stains and drywall material on the floor. It appears that the construction workers were using this elevator in addition to the one “locked off” for their use. I also found it strange that most of the time the elevator was being recalled from the 4th floor (this is the floor that was being renovated). When we got to the second floor, the walls showed evidence of being run into by the luggage carts as there were gouges up and down the corridor with drywall material lying about. It was also evident that the floors had not been vacuumed in some time. In the room, the following was observed: a. Trash on the floor b. The comforter cover was on top of the bed and the comforter was not inside of it. c. Sheets might have been cleaned, but it looked like someone had been lying on the bed. d. The clock radio was not plugged in. When I plugged it in, I found out that the time could not be set. I took it to the front desk, yet the staff never brought one back to the room. e. The power brick on the desk was not functional. I plugged it in after tracing the cord to get it to work. f. The Kleenex box was empty. g. There were only ½ rolls of toilet paper with not replacements. During the week, our towels were changed only once (they still left dirty towels in the room), never replenished the toilet paper or the Kleenex. I had to go to the front desk to get replacements. The room was never vacuumed. I found the lid to a soft drink under the nightstand and general garbage around the room, and all of it was still there when we checked out. There was never shampoo, cream rinse, or soap brought into the room (I had to get it from the front desk). On Friday morning, my wife got a cup of coffee from the stand in the lobby and found that the coffee was “ice cold”. When we ate breakfast downstairs during the week, there were “gnats/small flies” flying around the food area and all around the tables. On Wednesday, my wife and I had scrambled eggs and within 30-45 minutes of finishing breakfast, we both were...
