This is a month overdue, but is a necessary entry to be made due to the Above-and-Beyond the call of duty customer service Ms. Donna and Mr. Joe (I hope I remembered his name correctly) did to accommodate us due to the untimely circumstances Holiday Inn Express put us through at 2am after a flight from WI to AL to pickup our kids and Grandkids, then an 8 hrs drive from AL to LA for my Grandmother's funeral the very next day. My aunt reserved a 3br suite for us at Holiday Inn Express, which is next door to Exacta-Inn. I called the H.I.E. location where we'd be staying immediately to confirm the reservation ahead of time, gave them all of my military information, and informed the lady at the front desk that we'd be arriving late sometime after midnight. She confirmed seeing the reservation my aunt made, said our check-in time would not be a problem as she would leave a note regarding such for the night staff, only for us to arrive and be told by the night staff that NO note was left and therefore, our 3br suite had already been given to someone else in the funeral party, leaving us with the option of going elsewhere until our suite became available the next day or taking the only 2 rooms still available at $165+ per room (at $330 per night vs what would've been $154... yeah right!!!), which wouldn't even accommodate our party of 6 because of each being a single queen-size bedded room. After my wife came in to see what was taking so long and the storm of words from her that followed as a result, we drove next door to Exacta-Inn where Mr. Joe (?) took GREAT care in accommodating us after hearing what had just happened to us with Holiday Inn Express. We couldn't thank him enough for being such a Godsend. There were no suites, but he gave us 2 rooms close to each other that were furnished with a queen and 2 double beds to comfortably sleep all 6 of us. We thanked him again upon checking out the next morning. Later that day, we returned to H.I.E. after the funeral to check into our suite only to be told that the people who took it the night before decided to extend their stay for another night. Frustrated (AGAIN), we returned to Exacta-Inn and was greeted by Ms. Donna, who had already heard briefly about what happened to us from Mr. Joe, so I filled her in with the details and explained why we were back. She pulled up our information and told us: 1. Mr. Joe must have really taken to us because he had given us an extremely discounted rate on our rooms the night before; 2. the same rooms were still available; and 3. she was going to honor what Mr. Joe did by giving us the same discounted rates for both rooms. In awe, we thanked Ms. Donna, asked her pass on our gratitude to Mr. Joe, and told her I would be sure to give them an outstanding, detail-oriented review. I can't say "Thank YOU" enough to you both, Ms. Donna and Mr. Joe, for the compassion and attention shown towards our unfortunate circumstances during our time of grief and loss of my Grandmother. You BOTH went Above-and-Beyond during our time of need, which we will NEVER forget, and... I will continue to rave about you two and verbally advertise about Exacta-Inn to anyone looking for the BEST place to stay between Webster and Caddo Parish. Since our stay in Feb, my Mother has just passed away last Tues, Mar 27th. We will be transferring her from AL to be buried down in Sibley, LA next Saturday, April 7. So, we will be returning from Wisconsin next Friday to enjoy another wonderful stay at Exacta-Inn through Sunday morning. Until then... Forever grateful, The Taylor Family (Wisconsin)

The shower curtain rod was rusted out. Green chair had stains all over it. Sink kept filling up and would not drain. Rags had hair on them. Refrigerator has a stained damage spot on it. Microwave would not work/turn properly. I will definitely be looking at Best Western or Holiday Inn Express next time. I could not go below 1 star. If I could I would have.

I stayed at the Best Western last time but found both beds had been slept in and one had a nasty used bandaide in it. They didnt even seem concerned so I think it may had been known to management that they didnt change the linens. I really ebjoy staying here. I gave this motel 5 stars at first but after being here for 3 days I'm changing it to 4. One reason is because the walls are thin and it was almost like sharing a room with the loud mouths next door. Their alarm woke me up this morning. The other reason is because my room did not have a table or desk and I really needed one. I saw that the other rooms did so I called the front desk to see if I could put one in my room. The lady up front said no because then that room wouldnt have one. Uhh, well I dont have one but I guess that was not a concern. Neither could I change rooms because it was too late. Noonish. So she called me back and said I could use a folding table but I had to go get and carry back. I was okay with that. Also, this is not a pet friendly motel which may be an issue for some but they did not say anything about my service dog. There are a lot of good things to consider here. This place is very clean and quaint. Park at your door so that's a huge plus for me. No bugs. No frills but I love the very strong water pressure and how the water got very hot!! I also thought the bed was very comfortable but was not a fan of the firm pillows. My room had new furniture, new AC, large fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board, a decent sized TV but they had it on a timer to cut off after a while. However there was no coffe pot. I dont think they offer a breakfast either as that part looked closed up with all tables and chairs removed. They did have two washers and two driers that worked well. You can tell they take care of the place and everyone was friendly. I would stay here again but would ask for...

Called and made a reservation Thursday morning for my boyfriend and I to check in between 3 and 4 am on Saturday morning and check out on Sunday. The girl I talked to took all of my information and said I would only be charged for one night because of the time I was checking in. We drove 8.5 hours Friday night and got in at 3:20 Saturday morning. The man at the front desk said there was no reservation for us and I asked him to check the computer. He said "oh well you're not supposed to check in till tomorrow. Our computers don't switch over till 4 am. So you can either pay for another night or you can wait till 4 to check in." I explained to him what I had been told over the phone when I called on Thursday to make the reservation and he said "oh well you were given wrong information." I said "so you're going to either make us stand here for 35 minutes or make us pay for a second night because of 35 minutes?" And he said "sorry nothing I can do" So we left and went to a hotel down the road who was more than willing to accommodate us and let us check in and only pay for one night.

The owner called me today and did not seem like he cared at all. All he did was explain that I had been given bad information by whomever I spoke to when I made the reservation. That is not my problem and after driving 8.5 hours at night I expected them to honor what I was told originally.
