Quality Inn & Suites Minot North — Hotel in Minot

I will start by saying the majority of the staff we worked with were very friendly.

This is in our top 10 worst hotels we have ever stayed in. Basically the only thing I can say nice about it was the breakfasts were pretty good. They were plentiful and you had a few options to choose from. That said, the mini fridge was dirty. We stayed 3 days ( it was fair week and all hotels were sold out) and in these 3 days no one cleaned that fridge. They did not restock the syrups daily. On Sunday morning the sugar free was empty.

Our room stunk and was damp. We ran the air trying to dry it out but no luck. One chair in the room was even damp to sit in and actually the arms looked like a cat had been scratching it. The office chair was worn and had torn corners.

All the lighting throughout the hotel was dim bordering on dark.

Both the stairway halls and the elevator stunk. The elevator actually smelled like dill pickles. It was awful.

The handle/ faucet in the tub leaked which might be part of the musty smell.

As a special note this was a handicapped room. It had the low keyhole to view the hallway and the extra large bathroom to easily move about in a wheel chair. However, the bathroom has a tub. No shower, no tub chair, nothing to help you access the shower. I am thinking the sink was a bit too high for you to access easily

That said it's doubtful if you could manage to get your chair around the actual room. If you're handicapped, I'd advise checking out any handicapped room in this hotel before you check in.

If you plan to go to Minot for the fair in 2025 book well in advance because the rates just prior to fair week rose to about $400 per night. Definitely ...

This is going to be long, first this one employee at the counter parks his car every day under the over hang part where people check in at and the day we arrived he watched 6 people walk in and stand there at the check inn for 10 minutes and he waited to come in after his cigarette. Right off the bat inconsiderate. The elevator stinks so bad I can’t even compare it to anything because of how bad it is. And then the hotel room, immediately welcomed with the disgusting smell of mildew and mold, the carpet is wet from the AC, the chair is wet, and for some reason the pillows for a king bed are literally 12X12 accent pillows with a normal pillow case on them, also the toilet barely flushes. We’re here for business so wasn’t expecting the best but not only is this just awful but a whole health hazard mainly for people with asthma. We will not stay here again. I have to also add that the EMPLOYEE named GLENN steals from customers by up charging the snacks area including waters so, I’m guessing, he can grab those over charged items and take for himself. We were going to get 4 water bottles but he said “ that will be 8 dollars, oops I mean ummmm 16 dollars for the 4 water bottles. “ we put 2 back because that’s outrageous but we were thirsty so we still got 2 for 8, we made him give a receipt and he printed out all of the transactions from the gift shop area and we could see in the past two weeks he’s done this twice! Then the next day we got ONE water and it was a much nicer lady and she said it was only 2 dollars. I can’t seem to find the general managers numbers, so hopefully they...

I made a reservation and when I showed up it took awhile to get our room. Our first room was so humid the bed was wet. There was fecal stain on the sheets. We asked for a different room and we were given another room. This one wasn't any better and was worse. More humid and smelled of mold. I went down to the desk and told the lady I could not stay here with the humidity or I would end up sick. I asked for a refund and she said she was not allowed to refund my money. I asked to speak to a manager and she said they went home for the day. I asked if she could call the manager and she said they never pick up when I call and they won't answer my texts. She gave me a card and told me to call in the morning. I decided to call choice hotels because I made the reservation through them. Unfortunately they couldn't do anything for me. I still have not got a reply from the manager or my money back. The operating of this hotel is terrible and terrible customer service. I felt sorry for the front desk lady because clearly she has had to deal with this before and she had zero authority to help me. I would not recommend this hotel because of the location, the fact it has issues with humidity, and if you decide it's not the place for you they won't refund your money. So...
