Magic City Surplus — Local services in Minot

After reading the reviews on this place and being new in town. I decided to check it out. I love surplus stores their items are clearly marked if they're missing anything, which is awesome. However, I did not get the customer service at everybody else Raves about in fact the girl that was in there was extremely rude to me when I checked out. I mentioned that I was new in town and I would be back to buy more stuff and she immediately told me what we're not going to hold anything for you, which I did not ask her to do and then she told me that most of our stuff cells within the first day. So if you want it, you better go get it, which I did not do. I was very disappointed in the customer service. And that is the whole reason for the one-star rating. I hope next time I go in there. The owners are there that are the nice people that I read...

I always receive great customer service and enjoy their selection. The nice lady that is normally working is very helpful. They do a great job of stocking and organizing the store. Some items are only 20-30% off of retail, but many are more than half off. They have an ever-changing selection of food, candy, household items, toiletries, makeup, etc.

I also appreciate that they offer a 10% discount for Active Duty Military.

Most of the food items aren't even close to their "best by _" date, but it's always a good...

A really neat hidden gem here in Minot. They have a wide variety of items ranging from food to toys to bedding and camping gear at astonishingly low prices. Did I mention they accept EBT? Imagine already saving 50-70% on food and then also being able to use EBT. It's almost a no brainier.
